What was "The Ringmaster"? When Steve Austin joined the WWF in 1996 he was given the name of "The Ringmaster" and was managed by Ted DiBiase. The story was that DiBiase wanted a wrestler to carry on in the WWF for him and to carry his Million Dollar Belt. The angle started in January 1996 but by May of the same year Austin wasn't getting any heat from fans so he dropped the Ringmaster name and Ted DiBiase as his manager.

Former WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin parodied John 3:16 with the phrase "Austin 3:16", which said "You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16 ... Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ***" according to Austin. Steve Austin has insisted that the phrase was not sacrilegious or meant to mock Christianity at all. It was originally conceived when Austin mocked Jake Roberts, who, at the time, had a religious gimmick.

No, it's something that the wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin made up:

"You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16 ... Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ***!"
