The Bible tells us to be angry but not to sin, and not to let the sun set and keep being angry. It also tells Christians not even to carry a grudge! This sounds very difficult!
How may it be done?
First, how to deal with evil people. King Saul tried repeatedly to kill David. What was Davids response? He ran away! He distanced himself from the offender, as far as he could. Just as most people that are bitten by a mad dog--next time they have to go that way, they stay out of that dog's reach or take a different route! Right!
Next, how to deal with anger! Paul told the Christian:
(DRC) Romans 12:19-21, "Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord 21Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good."
In other words, God promises to pay back--and be assured even if it may take years, he will without fail pay back.
(DRC) Colossians 3:25, "For he that doth wrong, shall receive for that which he hath done wrongfully: and there is no respect of persons with God."
Also, God considers it part of his loving-kindness to pay back everybody what they deserve because it protects the innocent since they do not have to resort to violence!
(Darby) Psalm 62:12, "And unto thee, O Lord, belongeth loving-kindness; for *thou* renderest to every man according to his work."
So take comfort in prayer. Ask God to still your anger and comfort you so that you may rid yourself of the anger. Realize, that like when little children are fighting, parents intervene; similarly, God will intervene and pay back. If the victim is seriously hurt this will be repaired when God's kingdom is installed, or in the resurrection.

I am not sure if you mean that YOU are the one who has done this vengeful, unjust anger, or if someone has done it to you. So I will answer both.
-If you are the one who is/was vengeful/unjustly angry, then pray to God to help you with this problem. It is one thing that you happen to have a problem with. Okay, so I have something (as does everybody) I have a problem with and just like you, I need to pray to God and ask for constant help. It could be a long process for both or either one of us and we have to remember that God is making it take this long (if it is) because of reasons I cannot understand and I do not see the full picture as He does. So, I will just have to trust in Him, try to be patient and pray for some too, and God will take care of it in my life at the exact time where it would do the most good for me and not a second early or late. Not easy on faith and patience when it takes longer than a day...LOL...seriously...it is hard but we can do it with God. Remember that even though you may not be all that crazy about who you are and maybe you'd like to have been more successful as far as becoming more and more Christlike, but Thank God you are not who you once were! When I remember that, that God has changed me for the better already...A LOT, then it is easy for me to have much more faith and patience because I could measure my progress which makes it possible to see that God will take you the rest of the way just like He always has.
-This one is a bit shorter! If someone has been vengeful and unjustly angry at you, remember that we all at sometime (and many times) mess up and will mess up again. This may count as messing up big time but you and I do that too. So it is best to respond with love. I always need to remind myself that, for the most part, strangers do not do this kind of thing...for the most part...yes I have had a stranger be VERY vengefully angry and obviously unjust seeing as how I never met him so how could I have deserved it? But when it is someone you know, remember that the opposite of Love is NOT hate!!! It is apathy...totally not caring. So, it may be that that person reacted partially out of a twisted (and still wrong) sense of love. Forgive them as Jesus forgave you...all of us, even while we were still sinners. That is like forgiving someone completely BEFORE they beat you up! Ask Jesus for help if you need it. That is what He is best at: love and forgiveness. He will help...I promise and so does He! God Bless You!

Who ever angers you controls you! Don't let the little things in life (or the bigger things) anger you. It causes stress and unhappiness. Instead take a more relaxed view on life, let your emotions go, and have fun.

Depends on the situation.
Jesus got very angry when he saw the money lenders and gamblers in the Temple and he turned over tables, shouted at them and chased them out.

Pray. The unenlightened will eventually see the light, hopefully before it is too late.
Peace and Love
