Yes God grants forgiveness at least once if you sincerely ask for it but do not make it a habit of promising something to God and not keeping up ur word. God is the giver and not taker so think before uttering promises under compelling circumstances and then forgetting about them when the things turn better. Always ask for God's grace and not negotiate with Him. U have to be true to urself so that God comes to ur help all the time. Do not be selfish and think and act in larger interest.

More than a request for forgiveness is necessary. We need to conduct our lives after that in a way that shows we are sincere about our shortcoming.

God will certainly forgive if you ask for forgiveness by heart...He listens to his children and is always with them. But make sure that next time when u promise something, fulfill it...or you may remain in guilt. God is sweet but you must learn how to keep your words. Pay something that you can....he will understand.

I say yes, but I would not wish to test the limits.

Many become Christians only to fall from grace. That is to say they promise God to live for him and to sin no more. We know from scripture that if we turn from our sins he is just and faithful to forgive.
