Very astute question!
Maybe half and half? Each group has its own merits...
The real question is: if you've had all sorts of experience with several virgins and several 'experienced' individuals, are you really leading the kind of life that would be judged worthy of the "seventh heaven" by Muslim theology? I guess if you were living in an Arab country, then you could technically marry all of them (as long as they're at least 13 years old) and I guess you'd be ok. I guess that Mohammed might have had something there...

The "teacher" in me says 72 Virgins... and at my age I would probably died of exhaustion somewhere around number 7. But I would die a happy man.... why... because I have always tried to do the things which were most difficult in my life and this seems like something right-up my alley.

Virgins are overrated.
I'd prefer Solomon's 300 concubines (he can keep the 700 wives).
I will point out that the the desirability of virgins predates the Muslim "72 virgins". Numbers 31 lays out the lord's vengeance on the Midianites. In verse 7 they kill every man but that was not enough. Verses 17 and 18 state "Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man." Verse 35 lists 32,000 virgins as part of the "plunder". The lord's share of this, given to the priest Eleazar, was 32 virgins.
