why do people who watch "the secret" always calim to have a better life after watching it?read detail

"dooltaz" the secret came out on the oprah winfrey show? actually i came to it by accident i was searching for something else and i got the secret instead though i don't believe it works yet

I dont know what the Secret is, but some xtians were bashing it on here not 2 or 3 days ago. Try a search because apparently not everyone is as enthusiasitc about it as you think.

The secret is a fact that states all things come from within.

If you say negative things about yourself then negative things will happen, however, if you believe in positive thoughts, than positive things will be drawn to you. Basically, the law of attraction.

Like attracts like. It is in knowing that your spirit is very powerful, and if you believe you can do something, you ultimately will. Its having faith in yourself. Knowing that you are not separate from God, but part of him, this is why you can attract what you hope to attract.

If someone constantly complains about not having money, then they are basically saying I don't want money, things will never change, blah, blah, blah. However, if you say I will have money, then ultimately you will draw forces to you, which will give you an opportunity to achieve money.

Although, some call it the secret, I like to call it intention, whatever, you intend will happen.

I personally felt the book and DVD "The Secret" did nothing for me. It basically went over what others have said, quotes and such, and it did not give good examples of how everyday people think.

I personally prefer Dr. Wayne Dyer as he gives information on how everyday people think, and what type of situations were in, and how we can get out of them.

I have used the power of intention, and it truly works. The many things and situations I have today, I owe it to my belief system. It does work. Its the act of thinking positive, and always knowing that each of us are all part of the same source. God.

Its what we are raised to believe that gets us confused.

First off it makes you realize and be aware of the world in a new way- So you strat thinking more positively- not a bad thing! Then you are wanting to be thankful for every tiny thing... the more youthink and thank the more you will be blessed with things to be thankful for- this is the basics- Here are some links for you to explore for yourself- I feel you are an itelligent and courious person discovering this for yourself will boost your self confidemce even more and then the world is at your command!

The law of attraction has been around for a long time. Pagans have been using it for centuries.. it isn't new, and it isn't a secret, although the author of the book/video certainly is making a ton of money by calling it that.
