I was rasied at a catholic church while reading the bible a thought ran across my mind: Who created God?? Why are there so many logical explnations for everthing that make alot more sence then the way the bible discribed it. so i think i'm turning into an atheist and it seems alot easier to except the logical answers rather than the biblical answers. Is anyone in the same boat as me? And if so can u tell me some more on Atheistic points of veiw. Please excuse my spelling!!!!

I was in the same situation... a little. I was always told that there was a god but no point in my life have I ever believed it. I just followed what I was taught when I was younger. Last year was the official year when I turned atheist and I love it. I feel freer now then I did when I was christian. It was like a huge weight gone. My family didn't support me except my sister and they never really went to church so I don't think your parent will be very supportive. Still it was one of the biggest and greatest decisions I have ever made and this is coming from a girl who goes to a Catholic school

Yes. You solved it. The bible and the religious teachings of xtians are nothing more than circular arguments wrapped in lies wrapped in 2 more layers of political b.s. (political in the sense that religion is merely a tool for those with power to control their "flock"...and no, its not a coincindence that xtian teachings constantly refer to their sheep and flock).

Reading the Bible and asking questions about xtianity has brought so many atheists out of the perverbial closet, its not even funny.

Its also so liberating to be able to enjoy life and the people, places, and things of THIS WORLD with out the FEAR, servitude, and meaningless rituals and tradtions found in nearly all organized Religions...the most stunning example being Xtianity.

Don't give in to the devil! he is trying to pull you over. True science actually proves the bible, not disproves it. you don't have to choose one over the other. Albert Einstein said the more he studied the universe, the more he believed in a greater being.

ex.

The big bang theory actually coincides with the biblical description of creation.

There have been fish fossils found on top of mountains (from the flood) and there is a mountain in the middle east which has a huge boat on top of it that is ancient, and no one knows where it came from, and it is against the law to climb that mountain.

Statistics and scientific evidence show that it is entirely possible that the world's population came from one man and one woman.

Micro-evolution is a proven fact - animals/humans evolving within their own species. this explains why there are so many different kinds of dogs, cats, fish, etc. Macro-evolution is an unproven theory. The "missing link" has been found to have no DNA links to humans. there are too many grey areas.
note: Darwin converted to christianity before he died.

Jesus was a real man who really walked on this earth.

Don't let the lies of Satan confuse you. there is historical and scientific proof to back up the Bible, don't give up on it yet!

as you can see all the Cristian's jumped and tried to "save u" from Satan anyway as atheist i believe in the theory of evolution and the big bang which refers to the universe being created 13 billion years ago and the sun and earth about 5 billion years ago
the conditions on earth were right and life evolved from simple cells to complex organisms. I personally don't believe in God Satan heaven or hell but to be onset i would like them to be real because the fear of death and being forgotten scares me and if I'm wrong about God ill be the happiest guy in hell

Yes, use the critical thinking skills that nature gave you to find the truth. The best way to find the truth is through objective observation, like science. Don't find evidence to support your answer, but find the answer based on your evidence.

Why not learn the truth of what the bible teaches before you make up your mind about God.
Call your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses this Sunday and ask for a for a free home bible study.

most atheists live in a small, dark room with a computer, a copy of the God delusion and a stuffed bat
