Satan was kicked out of Heaven because he was comparing himself to Christ. He was previously the head music master (an angel) in Heaven, but exalted himself which led to his own destruction. "Pride goeth before a fall," the Bible tells us. However, he is alive and roaming the earth this very minute, creating misery and leading unfortunate people to him every chance he gets. "Resist the devil and HE SHALL FLEE!" Jesus is his creator, and at the end times "every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!" Yes, that means you, too. When Christ comes to rule and reign on this earth, he shall cast Satan into the firy pit for eternity. But don't forget, if you deny Jesus as your Saviour, you'll be there with him. Don't wait another moment, CHRIST IS COMING, SOON!

In Job, satan approached God and still does to this day to accuse us of our sins. Satan cannot enter the 3rd heaven where God sits on the Throne and sin cannot enter, but satan is the prince of the Air - the 1st heaven where we are = earth. Satan has roamed the earth since he fell from heaven (was Lucifer the angel), like a lion to devour our souls. In Rev 20 that you quoted = the future when Satan is cast to the lake of eternal fire, along with the antichrist and false prophet at the end of the (1000 yr millenium, when Jesus rules on the restored earth.). Satan was cast to EARTH when he (Lucifer=angel) sinned with pride and wanted to overtake God's throne. Satan will be cast to The lake of eternal fire for final judgment. Jesus is our intercessor before God now when satan accuses us. May God be the Glory!! Hope this helps

Both , right now Satan is down on earth doing every thing he can getting the world to not accept and rebel against Christ , through words in music ,having man change the words in the bible, and many other ways. Also he goes to heaven and tell God that This man did this sin , and that man did this sin ,did you see them ???Not knowing he will one day be thrown out of heaven forever to hell with the people he deceived down here.Earth and heaven are infected with sin that is why a new heaven and earth will be made made pure again and sin in hell forever more.

Satan is neither in heaven nor hell because the earth has not come to an end yet. At the end it will be so. He and one third of the angles where kicked out of heaven, and Adam and Eve let them in, and he has been on this planet earth messing with people ever since, but he knows he only has a short time. That is why he is trying to deceive and destroy and kill you every time you bat your eyes.

The passage in Revelation is a prophecy of the future.
Satan is mentioned in the New TEstament as the ruler of the air. Basically the ruler of the earth. He has free reign. He and his angels have access to anything in the NT. At some point, and i dont remember when, the Old Testament mentions that he is banned from Heaven for good. Prior to that, he even had access to God.

The last verse you quote is of a future event, after the millennium (1000 year reign) of Christ. (read all of chapter 20)
The first verse you cite is from an unknown time period, but quite likely around 4000 years ago.
The verse that gives us a better bearing on the time element is Ephesians 2:2, where the Devil or Satan is described as the Prince of the Power of the Air. The Greek word for air is aer, meaning the lower atmosphere contiguous with the surface of the earth, or in Biblical terms, the lower heaven (the Bible mentions 3 heavens - see II Corinthians 12:2)
So when Paul wrote his letter, probably around 60 A.D., Satan was situated in the lower heaven.
This agrees with Revelation 12:7ff, which foretells a future event (future at the time of writing, and in my opinion, still future today) - namely, a war in heaven which results in Satan being cast down to the earth. Immediately after this event, we see Satan raise up his Antichrist (chapter 13), who reigns for a short time, and is defeated at the Battle of Armageddon and thrown into the Lake of Fire at the appearing of Christ (Revelation 19:20).
The Devil is at this time bound for 1000 years in the Abyss. Afterwards he rises and leads a final revolt against the rule of Christ, is defeated, and then is cast into the Lake of Fire.
So in summary, we see a progressive casting down of Satan. First, he is cast out of the heaven of God; then he is cast out of the lower heaven, down to the earth (still future); then he is cast into the Abyss for 1000 years, then he rises out of the Abyss, is defeated, and thrown into his final destiny - the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.

Rev 12:12 tells us what the angels were saying after he was thrown out of heaven woe for the earth cause he has come down to the earth with great anger knowing he has a short period of time and hell doesnt exist.A place of eternal torment for what to pay for our sins.Jesus died for our sins.2 god is love. Now wouldnt that contradict Gods purpose.Jesus died for our sins to open the way for salvation.alsoUltimate price for sin is death.Ecc 9:5 tells us dead are concious of nothing at all.So infact when we die we are not suffering also we are not in heaven.1Joh 4:1 tells us many false prophets went into the world.so hell is actually a disrespect to god saying that he tortures us because of sin.And if hell was created It would have been created after Adam and eve so you have to reason with your self and see if these religious leaders are teaching truth or lies.Hell is mankinds common grave we all go to hell meaning our grave. This kind of disrespect to god has turned people away from god you are welcome to email me for additional info in the meantime all your questions can be answered from the bible with scriptures to prove the teachings at Im a Jehovahs witness And i assure you anything we speak of is in the bible and not tradition of men. Its been a pleasure answering your question Have a good day/night

Neither, both and all of the above. He travels about. All depends on where he can do the most damage.
I don't think you should use capital s. He's not that important.
The chapter of Job you're talking about, he's in heaven talking to God. Very view people think they'll see the evil one in Heaven. But there it is. In the Bible.
Revelation is about the end of times. At that time he will apparently be locked in hell for good. Unless he repents.

Darling, the book of Revelation - as most people know - is a prophetic book (IE it speaks of the future, not the past). Therefore, when it says the devil is cast into the lake of fire, it is speaking about what WILL happen. The entire book of revelation is based on a vision by (st.) John...not actual happenings.
If you would read the book instead of getting your theology from Googling keywords, you would know that.

Satan is the current ruler of the earth. He took over when Adam ate the forbidden fruit. Not to worry though because Jesus Christ will take over from Satan. You can read all about it in the Book of Revelation.
