These Words are True! And many today are losing control over themselves and their lives. And then hurt others when they could help, over petty things. Trying to
prove to themselves that they still have some control.
But that only makes Others mad. And then they lose More
control.

I have a problem with the question if I'm honest, it is contradictory. you ask why we are not allowed to express honest emotions like anger? Then tell us that we should just breath in and out instead.
I'm not sure when breathing in and out became an expresion of anger. Nor are anger and stress the same thing.
Whilst breathing in and out deeply may provide you with the neccessary delay for your mind to proccess informtion and provide you with alternate choices to your predescribed course of action, it is not going to make you feel like you have adequately expressed a serious and deep seated emotion of anger.
Lets suppose for a moment that you have suddenly awoken in the era of medieval Britain, in the centre of a town which has recently been pillaged, the children taken as slaves, the men and the old butchered, the women raped, you find a female survivor hiding in a house huddled in the corner her clothes torn and her body battered and bloody. You walk over and tell her that it's ok, she'll feel better if she breaths in and out and controls her power.
seriously. what on earth are you talking about? True anger is not controlled by breathing excersizes, niether is true grief or hatred. depp seated emotions with seroious traumatic ties are controlled by one thing and one thing only, time.

You CAN express your emotions with dignity and tact; but when we allow our emotions to "get the better of us" we create more problems.
Men often repress a variety of feelings but ONLY allow themselves to express anger, because it is the sole emotion that is perceived as acceptable for men in the many cultures that consider other emotions in men as a sign of "weakness".
Being dramatic and impulsive distracts from the core issue at hand, while attempting to stifle or deny one's true emotions will usually manifest itself physically as stress. Either way, you lose.
Trust me, this is a very difficult skill to develop, and I am far from having mastered it! But really it is how I define maturity.

I don't tell people they can't express their anger. Anger is a powerful emotion, and it needs to be expressed. It can eat you up inside if you never let it out.
What is harmful is when we hurt others because of our own anger.

The challenge is to express anger in a way that is not destructive. I have only managed it once or twice, myself. Overall I agree, repressed emotions can be harmful.
I'd like to know more about your theory, though.

Stiffling human emotions permanently is no good at all and will only lead to a malfunction of some sort.
Guilt for having human emotions is even worse.
