My maid of honor wants to put together a memory book for my FH and I , she wants baby pictures of us and she wants to take pictures through out the whole thing and choose what photos to put in the book .

well she has horriable taste in photo's she posted some photos of my FH and I on the internet that we so horriable he called her and asked her to take them down ...

our families don't want to give old photos to her since she is not family.

I sent her an email explaining how the family felt about this, and we would love a book.. but we should be allowed to choose what photos are special to us not left to another person interpertation of what is special. and putting a memory book is something that is special to the bride and groom and direct family.

But i told her I would love a book to put photos in with maybe a special poem from her. I explained she is a great help and a good friend but this not really her place to do this.

is this offensive to tell her that.

love my job, but my boss is something else she is a know at all controlling smart asss who cant mind her business, who puts me and my co worker down in front of customers, she sucks her fingers out loud when ever she eats anything, she put her face right on your food and then asks you what are you eating?, she gossips about everybody shes ever meet, she takes credit for everything me and my co worker do and never does a damn thing herself, she'll back stab you faster than you can blink among other things. My last day is coming up and I cant bear to leave without saying or doing something before I go. Any ideas?

Most people assume that people who don't look you directly in the eye are dishonest. I don't agree. I believe it is usually due to a lack of confidence and/or trust, and not that they are necessarily dishonest.

Most salesmen, politicians and lawyers for example are confident people and will lie to you without hesitation while maintaining eye contact and a smile.

I think the common perception about eye contact is quite wrong and perhaps damaging to shy or timid people and would like your insight.

I am told that in Japan it is considered rude to make eye contact, and that people generally don't. Not sure whether this is true or not.

Please comment I am interested in others thoughts on this.

I just found out that a co-worker's family member passed away two weeks ago. This co-worker and I aren't close but she is a really nice person. Would it be appropriate to send her a card even though it's been two weeks since the funeral?

Hamburgers are eaten whole with one's hands in Japan . I heard that it was usual in UK to eat the hamburger with a knife and fork. If you do so, do you remove the top half of the bun? And don't you eat it at all?
Please tell me how you eat them.

If in a group of friends, a certain person's pedant behaviour gives inferiority complex to another person in the group and due to this other misunderstandings crop up, what efforts can other persons in the group put to bring the two persons to talkable terms and permanently settle their differences?

When the evangelists knocked on my door, I had a hard time to decline them. I tried lines such as 'no thanks, I'm not interested', but they replied with 'interest can always be cultivated', etc. etc.
I respect them and I don't want to speak rudely to them, but I really don't want to have them preaching me.

I have an annoying neighbor who comes right on in if no one answers the door and she is my grandma's friend cause we live with our grandparents. So anyway, she comes in and talks to me about people in her family who I don't know or care about and it's annoying. What do I do? By the way I can't tell her what she is doing because it could ruin her and my grandmother's relationship. Someone Help!

I find it irritating sometimes when I'm at a party or in public with friends and someone comes by with a camera and is snapping pictures etc. I don't really like having my photo taken that much and I don't really want to be in anyone's photos. It seems invasive and a little presumptuous to me, am I being too sensitive??
