You get lots of nice answers when you post a question? I don't get many as I tend to ask a lot of imotive questions. I spell words wrong and won't use the spell check which winds some people up. I deride people and countries when I think that they are doing us down. I give the teenagers a hard time sometimes.I have never been racist or particualy PC and bad language is for the womballs. I realize some times how stupid I am. Some times I even give good advice and everybody is nice back. Are we all like that? I think it's nice that we cant see each others faces. Now then, Who shall I have a go at next? I have given the Americans and French some stick. I know, I think That I'll have an opinion on the immegrants. What do you think?

My extended family has had quite a few deaths recently and we have spent alot of time at funeral homes standing over the deceased body. What an experience.

Anyway, I have noticed recently quite a few people have come into the funeral home with a camera and ask the immediate family if it is OK to take a picture of the decesed. They were given the OK in most cases.

Looking back at the funeral of my Mom and Dad I wish I would have taken some pictures of them in their casket but did not think it was a good idea at the time. Now I think differently. What do you think?

I don’t mean to be ageist, but surely lunch times are for the workers? They get in the way with their trolleys, tut at you when you rush past…we have a one hour window, surely we should have more space! They can shop anytime…but you can guarantee they will use their bank card to pay for 3 oranges and a tin of soup!

to get their cards or cash out at the supermarket after all the goods have been packed. It's as though they did not have a clue they would have to pay. They then spend minutes looking in various places while I am waiting behind them. Ladies, get your payment ready while you are waiting in line please.

Long story short: I furnished the apartment, even my roommate's bed, from the couches and entertainment center to the forks...I payed for it all. She hasn't bought a damn thing for this house, not even cleaning supplies or toilet paper. She is the laziest person I know...I work a 9 hr day...she MIGHT go to class. She lounges around all day doing not ****. She hasnt lifted a finger since we've been roomies (4 mnths). Oh and Im not only cleaning up after her-but also her friend who has been living with us(without my permission) FOR FREE. So, now I'm cleaning up after 2 slobs. I just made my free-loadin 3rd roommate pay-up, but she refused to pay anything more than $50. But she is my roommates friend so she has to deal with her. Their garbage & dishes pile up until I finally clean them b/c I cant stand the mess after so long. They leave trash everywhere and laundry in the washer & dryer for days till I fold it for them. I have talked to her but it hasnt done any good. Any advice?

We have a woman at work who ALWAYS goes to the toilet just before lunch time for a poop.
The stench is bad, I mean really bad. My desk is 25 M away from the toilet door down the passage and I still get the stench, even air freshner does not camo the smell...
It spoils lunch time for everyone in the office, except her, who the casually eats at her desk as if nothing is wrong...
How do we change her behavior?

She started there 2 months ago and straight away my husband was uncomfortable around her. She seemed to like him as when the staff were all together after work she would follow him round and constantly try to make him laugh...now I trust my husband implicitly....he would nevr be unfaitull plus I have a good friend at his work and she has told me that this girl is odd and unfriendly towards all the women at work....my husband started to avoid the weird girl and found that she was always getting under his feet...shed appear wherever he was...the other day my husband noticed that there was some money missing from his wallet when he got back from work and couldnt think what had happened to it....and then yesterday he went into the room where bags are kept and SHE was there....his bag had been tampered with and she was busy doing nothing...sort of nervously fiddling with the ice machine. Now...f she has a bad crush on him...why is she stealing from him? My husband has informed his manager

I read how people went to town naked for reasons of charity. Thats an act of irresponsibility of the highest degree in my opinion.
I believe if you are compassionate at heart there are so many ways to go about it, nudity is certainly not one of such options.

I just started smoking a tobacco pipe. I have the packing and tamping techniques down pretty well. I also smoke cigarettes. I was wondering if it was common practice to inhale pipe tobacco smoke.

My band is playing a regular Saturday night paid gig at a club. That night happens to be my wifes birthday. Do you think it's okay to use the occassion as a surprise birthday party? She will just think she's going to another gig. My concerns are (1) since we're being paid for the gig - it's almost like the club owner is paying for our party. On the other hand, the party will generate several customers (family and friends) who may or may not have shown up otherwise. (2) I know the club owner, and they would say "no problem" if I asked. I just want an objective outside opinion first.

I know I'm not supposed to throw it away, but what do I do with it? Do I write "return to sender" on it, or "moved away" or something like that, and put it back in my mailbox for the mailman? Or do I put it in the big blue mailbox on the corner of my street?

By this I don't mean to other drivers on the road. You can have hands free bluetooth in your car. What I mean is, is it rude to the person who you are talking on.

It occured to me as I was talking to my friend while I was driving, she was on her phne too, and driving as well. We're both busy people, and I love her to death, but it seems time is so hard to come by these days. It seems that we try to squeeze all the time we can in a day. That means making phone calls in our cars as oppose to talking at home?

Whenever I see a disabled person trying to open the door for themselves and struggling a little, I'm always in a quandary about whether I should offer my help or let them do it themselves. I realize that having a handicap doesn't mean it is completely dibilitating, and most people are completely independent. But then I don't want to feel like a jerk by just walking by and not offering help. So which is it? Are you supposed to offer your help or are you supposed to assume that if they needed help they'd ask?

Smoking IS an unhealthy habit, for the most part. Don't get me wrong. I know that. But I do think it's funny when nonsmokers who eat unhealthy food on a regular basis get all preachy when it comes to smoking. To make it even funnier, if you point out this contradiction, they rarely see what you're talking about.

I rarely ever smoke, btw. I enjoy an occasional cigar, but that's pretty much it.

My in laws openly disapprove of my husband's and my marriage. It's been over 3 years and they will not approve, will not speak to me, and will not make attempts to be civil. What would you do? Try and put up with it silently? Cut them out of your lives? I have tried to be kind and do everything to make a good impression and get along, but a year and a half ago, after enduring verbal abuse from mother in law, I gave up and we currently do not speak with them anymore.
