I havent decided to accuse anyone....I am only going on the word of my husband and I warned him ot to mention the girls name to his manager...as there was no real evidence....but come on...it is a very small place of work and as I said...noone else has any way of getting to where the bags are apart from her...the rest of the staff are all stuck front of house....

I would say that you need to wait until the trap has been set, and sprung, before you publicly say that this girl is the one who is taking the money.

He is right to tell his manager. If he can get video evidence that she is stealing, then they can fire her. However, if she has a "Fatal Attraction" to your husband, be careful. She could cause some serious workplace problems.
Have him start taking notes whenever he thinks something odd is happening whenever she is nearby. Tell him to keep these notes in his pocket or in a locked drawer/cabinet. If she gets fired, she may try to get back at him, or the people in the office.

Good luck to your husband.

well she could need the money has anyone else in the office noticed money missing?? not saying that stealing it is the way to get it just saying. Or maybe she's taking it from you husband because obvioulsy as you said she likes him and she takes it from your husband because it is his. As bizarre as it sounds it could be. Anyway I hope she gets busted. Good Luck

All criminals must be exposed.Let your husband mention her name to the manager for investigation and discipline. You can not help one to become a good citizen of the country and the world if you do not correct them.
Your husband must stop being too soft because he will be targeted by others who would like to ruin his career.

If the question is "Why would she steal if she likes him?" it may be that she is the kind of person who tries to cultivate trust in people so that when things DO go missing she is the last to be accused because her defense would be (inaccurately in this case) "Why would I steal from him? He's my friend!"

Your husband should write down everything that she does in a journal. He should also keep his money on his person and not give her chance to steal again. He should tell at least one person in his workplace about this ......so they can be a witness.

Your husband needs to keep his money on his person instead of someplace where coworkers can take it.

Other than that, he needs to sit down with her and his supervisor about her actions.

actually the best course of action is to inform HR right away. some of these women start things and then end up making false accusations to save their job(we had one of those ended up being a crack whore). nip it in the bud, do the proper protocol that the handbook says.

Actually nothing has happened really - you have just decided to accuse this woman of stealing on very flimsy evidence. Sure your husband hadn't just spent the money? I would be very careful - this story does not really add up and my feeling is that you need to watch your husband.
