I don't think two weeks is too long since you are talking about a coworker. The rule of thumb is to send condolences as soon as possible after learning of a death.
Loosing a loved one is a traumatic experience no matter what the circumstances. The coworker will be touched by your kindness during a difficult time for her and her family.

I think it's just fine. When the death first happened, there was a flurry of attention and sympathy. But by now a lot of that has fallen away, yet the pain of this loss has not gone away. So it might be even more appreciated now than it would have been right away.

Yes, please send her a card. When my dad died 6 yrs ago, several people I used to work with sent me cards weeks later. I was touched that they would do that. As far as reminding her of her loss -- she thinks of it everyday. She needs to know that you care enough to send her a card expressing your sympathy.

I think it would be appropriate, the main time for moarning has past, the immediate problems have come up and probably...hopefully being dealt with. It would be good timing to say you recognize and sympathize with their loss without adding to their grief.

Yes, just note in it you recently hear of the news.
It will let her know you care.

I dont think she needs you to bring up her loss again, she is probably just starting to feel better about it. I would just let it go.
