love my job, but my boss is something else she is a know at all controlling smart asss who cant mind her business, who puts me and my co worker down in front of customers, she sucks her fingers out loud when ever she eats anything, she put her face right on your food and then asks you what are you eating?, she gossips about everybody shes ever meet, she takes credit for everything me and my co worker do and never does a damn thing herself, she'll back stab you faster than you can blink among other things. My last day is coming up and I cant bear to leave without saying or doing something before I go. Any ideas?

Just hold your head high, say 'Goodbye' and leave it at that. In life, you never know when your negative actions from the past could come back to haunt you in your future. You may cross paths with this woman in another job or in a social setting. If your original intent was to tell her off or embarrass her back, don't do it. Move on.

If you truly feel like you MUST say something to her before you leave, be professional about it. You might ask to speak with her in private for a moment. You can make a statement in a non-threatening tone that tells your boss why you were unhappy. Something like "I wanted you to know that there are times when you come across as demeaning and I just wanted you to think of your employee's feelings before making insulting remarks." But also know that if you do shoot off your mouth, it could result as serious repercussions for the employees that are still there.

Good luck to you.

I agree with the first two answers, as tempting as it is to say something or do something for your last day there, unless you are retiring and leaving the workforce totally, you never know how far reaching this woman's influence can be .

people like that get there's in the end so don't worry she will get hers eventually, but it doesnt have to be from you .
good luck !

You never know if she'll be in a position to make or break a job prospect for you in the future. Prospective employers WILL call your former supervisors.

Like everyone says, "Don't burn your bridges!"

I agree with Cat Lover. Anything you do will make you as bad as her. Be mature about it, do your work and leave. Don't look back, and just be happy that you have the choice to work somewhere else in future.

Be an adult and a lady and just say, "Goodbye."

Then go celebrate the fact that you don't work there anymore!

Good luck the next place you work!
