Our local church has a toddler nursery room in the back hallway near the restroom. They have a nice changing station with a cupboard full of diapers. Can I take one? How about whole pack? Will they even notice?

There is this group of people in my town, who think they are "community leaders" but really , they are just jokes. One guy is a realtor who deals exclusively with skanky people, and sells crap houses. He gets on the radio (free open mic in the mornings) twice a week to toot his own horn on how he's doing "million dollar transactions this month". First of all, this is BS, because he lives in a crappy old victorian house and drives a rusty old Ford Taurus. He also gets in the newspaper all the time to talk about "business" and his church's "youth group" which he runs.
There is another group who run the local evangelical church (of which the aformentioned person is a member), and they were just in the paper for being "The ultimate high school sports family". The article talked about how great they are, how they went to Oral Roberts University and how their kids are great at sports. Is this weird? Do they call the newspaper and say "do a story about me"?? This is disturbing to me.

My husband bought me a Coach purse for my birthday while he was on a business trip. He asked what style and color I wanted. I e-mailed him a picture, but when he got home with it, it is not the pattern I wanted. Do you think it is rude of me to exchange it? I don't want to hurt his feelings. I explained to him that I REALLY do appreciate it, and he is fine, but I feel bad. What do you think?

My husband's practice has about 5 office "girls" who are mostly older 45+. There is this one, who just started who looks to be a little "rough around the edges". This girl's job description has her taking patients into rooms, cleaning and such.
I stopped by his office today to pick something up and to use the restroom. As I was walking in there, she stopped and stared at me. This is the first time I have seen her, ever, because she's new. I usually wave and say hi to the other office girls that I have known for a while and would have introduced myself if I wasn't going into the restroom. Anyway, when I came out, no one was around, so I said bye to my husband and walked out. As I was walking out, I noticed her come to the back door (where my car was parked) and stare at me out of the back door as I drove away. Does this sound weird? I would never do something like that to someone. It just creeped me out.

This question is about the protocol to avoid an unpleasant encounter when trick or treating occurs in your neighborhood. Do you simply leave your lampost light off? Do you need to post something on your door? What do you do, to avoid the doorbell being rung and explaining to each person that there are no treats available? Of course, I am aware already that you could simply not answer the door or avoid being home, but I am more interested in learning the tactful way to quietly enjoy my home without participating in this holiday.
This question is not about the decision not to participate in Halloween, so no response in this regard is needed. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom on the matter of proper etiquette.

I got married this past August and invited all of my family. I know some of them (several cousins in particular) didn't come because they are too poor. When I had my bridal shower, only one of those cousins came (with her mom), and they gave me a gift, which I appreciated and sent a thank-you note for.
I knew they couldn't come and are pretty poor so I didn't expect a gift, but did expect at least a $1 "congratulations" card in the mail shortly after. Nothing came. The only thing that did was from the cousin who attended the bridal shower, she sent me $30 which I greatly appreciated and thanked her for. My other cousin, who was also invited, never sent a card, or even an email telling me congratulations. Neither did her mom, sister, or aunt (whom are all my second cousins but we are close). Anyway, she wrote my mom an email the other day outlining how great her life is with her boyfriend, how she moved to Ohio, and never asked about the wedding, or anything... should I be mad?

Last night at a party for a co worker, I had to pee really bad and all the bathrooms were occupied. Long story short, my boss caught me peeing in the kitchen sink. What should I do?

I'm still bitter (we've been happily married for a while, but I'm just dying to know what other people think...and let me know if i'm overacting..
First let me say that my fiancee at the time, and this ex girlfriend broke up and haven't talked (except for a casual email once or twice a year) in 8 YEARS!
We got engaged in June, and around Christmas, Joe* got a package from Slut* (names have been changed to hide their identity). In the package was a bottle of cologne and a note made out to the two of us saying Dear Joe and Connie, Congrats on getting engaged. Good luck in the future..blah blah blah. It was French cologne (she's from Canada) and at first we thought it was just a nice room spray (because we don't speak french).

I thought nothing of it at first- I was just kind of like..OK- she lives in another country anyway...wierd gift. After analyzing it for a week, and looked it up, I found out it was men's cologne...NOT spray...not for men and women..so I asked Joe

Don't they realize that all I want is just to have a good drink and chat with those people & meet some women? Then why do they mock me and treat me as an outcast? All I want is to make friends with them & they respond like I am not fit to live in this world.

When a friend asks a group of guys to help him move, would it be acceptable to offer about $40 each to hire professional movers to help him out instead of having everyone waste away hours of physical labor, when they could just pay someone else?

I admit I am lazy ... would it be rude for me to offer money instead?

I notice this a lot. It's like they never ever stop arguing even though their statements are illogical. When I know I'm wrong I shut up. But when they know they are wrong they keep going. It dosen't make any sense.

The neighbor is a married stay at home mom with kids. I have a wife and children. She is not interested in me in a relationship way. This is something else entirely. I leave the house, there she is watching what I am doing. I come home, she is watching. I mow the lawn, there she is. I take the dogs out, she is there. No one else does this, just her. What is her problem? Each and everytime I go out side or leave, she comes out.

I absolutely hate it. It's disgusting and unhygenic. But so many kids are doing it now right? What can we do, as a community, to stop it?

I feel people hate me or don`t want to work with me?
I don`t know however i try to be flexible and respectfull to to others opinion in a team work, however try to be positive and effective but at the end seems i am the lonlinest person in the group.
but some of my close friends tell me you look at people smile in a way that you are mocking them however it is not your purpose.

How would that possible to work in a place that everybody seems rejecting you?
Imagine you enter in a place and everybody pretend you are invisible what do feel? How you should break this?

Me and my friend booked a flight only to Italy for this weekend just gone. The transport to the airport was not organised nor was anything once we got there.

Now I always end up organising because shes not pro active at all, but shes a friend and I care for her. I am always there listening to her problems (phone and face to face) and she barely listens to mine.

My cousin died last week and its the anniversary of the death of my sister coming up so Im having personal problems too.

Now on Friday she text me saying 'when are you coming down tomorrow?' I gnored this text and we ended up not goint to Italy.

She then text me last night saying 'am disgusted in the way you did this...you know what ive been going through past few days. Never again''

But she NEVER takes my life into consideration.

Was what I did, wrong? Please help. Thank you in advance.

there was no need for it as they have a drive but just seem to like parking infront of my house , why ?
any way needed the car to take the kids to school, its a good mile away and it was raining.
Knogked their door no answer, rang the bell, used the knocker, called up to the bed room window to move the car, eventually they did, after about 10 minutes of me knocking louder and louder.
we live in a very quiet road want do the neighbours in the road think of me now ?
do you think they we keep well clear of me now ?
