No way. If men were freely allowed into womens' restrooms, that would give the perverted predators out there free access to lay in wait to attack and rape when a woman is alone in there, use their cellphones to take pics, pedophiles access to loiter where children are undressed (I understand that there are changing tables in mens' rooms & daddies taking kids to the potty too, it's just WAY more common for them to go w/Mommy), any number of things.

I don't know. It wouldd make men need a cubicle meaning they couldn't all stand in a row taking a peek at the next guys...business. Wait, thats a good thing.
However, it would embarrass some people if they're doing a number 2 etc :D It's not really the best idea though i can see the upsides. It makes sex in a public restroom a lot easier for example.

Have you ever noticed that at a big public event the line to the ladies room is always extremely long, and the guys never have a line?
I stood in one of these long lines last week at a hockey game. After standing in line for 10 minutes, and watching the men come in and out of the restroom without waiting, I thought to myself, "This is crazy to wait so long". So. I walked into the men's room and took care of business.
No one said a thing....in fact several women followed suite.

Have you seen a man's public restroom, talk about gross and disgusting. I wouldn't trust men in women's washrooms, too many sicko's out there.
Years ago while living in Edm. AB Canada a women was murdered in a public washroom by a transvestite using the woman's bathroom. So NO I would never use a washroom designated for both sexes.

No. Men are disgusting, men's restrooms are always nasty. They don't always wash their hands and they aren't very careful with where their stream goes. And don't forget about the perverts out there. If it were commonplace for a man to be in the same restroom as a woman peeping toms would be the least of out worries.

NO thank you, but I´ll come with a compromise, the same public restroom for those women and men who like that (what that would lead to, would be very interesting to know!) and for us old- fashioned ones, let the restrooms be as they are.

The often do in Paris I kid you not. A group of us women took over the mens at one of the museums, the look on the two mens faces at the urinals, will be imprinted on my mind for ever. What a laugh, but we'd seen a girl walk in there with her boyfriend to seperate cubicles, so we comandeered the rest and why not when the ladies was queued half way up the passageway. Good question.

No not in public. It is just nasty...Guys pee all over the place and the mens room is pretty stinky...I would rather go outside. Plus us ladies have to powder our noses etc in the restroom...That is just gross to even think men and women should share a public restarea....but you know they do this with the portable outhouses at carnivals and such and it is still nasty as all get out.

At first, this seems to be a reasonable question to ask - but unfortunately, men's loos ALWAYS stink so I don't think it's a very good idea. Men don't appear to be as hygienic as women where public loos are concerned and I certainly wouldn't fancy going into a pongy one. Also, there'd be bound to be at least one perv who'd want to flash himself at the unsuspecting ladies so the sharing idea might end up with a lynching.

I used a combined restroom at the Great Wall of China. It was segregated by stalls, but all in the same room.
When you have to go, you have to go. ;-)
As for places where there are separate facilities, why would we want to mix it up? What would be the benefit?
