We have been hanging out for a few weeks and I want to ask her to be a couple. Is asking her out the same as asking her to be my girlfriend?

And what should I write on the little card for the flowers?

I borrowed $1500 from a man for a house payment. He cared a lot about me. I didn't pay him back for 6 months before he decided to just make it a gift. I didn't really accept the gift, I said i'd pay him but I have not paid him. Times are/were tough. He kept saying take your time.

Anyways three months before he let me borrow $1500, I let someone have $400 for a trip from FL to NYC. I also let this someone have $50 for a video game AFTER I borrowed the $1500. Well.... I felt bad for him. He has had a drug problem in the past.

The man that borrowed $1500 found out about this and got very upset and called me a user and said I took advantage of him. It all started when I said I wanted to buy a WII in front of him. I wasn't going to buy it, I just wanted to jeeze!

Now he thinks I am a user and I don't take insults well so it spiraled out of control. Hes judging me and using his own fears against me. I hate him now and resent him.

Does any body think these self-rightious, arrogant, finger pointers are just as bad as the Bible thumpers that yell "turn or burn" on the street corner?

I am not sure what is appropriate, I am seperated from my kids dad, who is a jealous guy, and still kinda of bitter about the seperation. we currently live in different cities.
I plan to take my kids to visit him, and the entire family. But I am planning on taking my new boyfriend with me for the drive, it is an 8 hour drive.
So when I get there, would it be rude to leave my boyfriend at the hotel, when I take the kids to their dad's house ? I was planning on dropping the kids off, but I still was going to sit down, and speak with everyone for a few minutes. I dont want things to get ugly, but I dont want to be rude either, what do you suggest ?? Guys I would love to hear from you...

This blister is huge, it wont go away soon enough for the interview. Its been so long since I've had one (I take valtrex everyday). Just my luck.

Should I go to the interview or cancel it and reschedule? Do you think its gross to go to an interview w/ a fever blister?

This is my second interview with this place and its my dream job (3D imaging, hard to get into in healthcare). So I wonder if I should just act like its not there and be confident, or reschedule when I can look my best?

My boss told me to go buy her a sub, and I asked her what kind. She looked at me like she had no idea why I would ask such a question and then said "I don't know, just your regular, everyday run of the mill subs", the way she said it was really condesending. Wasn't that a pretty neccecary question??

He has a bell at his desk (like a hotel lobby bell) that he rings each time he gets a form that an agent has been relived of duties in his company...

It came up in a meeting today because the executives want to know good turnover vs. bad turnover numbers (meaning if they got a better job in the company or if they were left or fired from the company).. Boss woman stated we need to keep track of the good vs bad & a big argument came up concerning how to decide.

He broke it down it terms of how he rings the bell --------- and what a hit it was. He told them he ONLY rings the bell when they are leaving the company (under the assumption they are fired) and refuses to ring it if they are promoted elsewhere in the company.

Next thing we know the boss woman is explaining how we should record these occurrences in the terms of how he rings the bell.

He failed to mention in the meeting how he sits back with a smirk and says "another one bites the dust".

What do u think of this

A question came up earlier (in another category) and the answers all seemed to fall in a line, I thought (after reading them) this is ridiculous! Why can't we just apologize for our mistakes? So, my question to you: Is it really that hard to do the right thing? Why? or Why not then?

I'm not sure how I should thank my uncle & aunt, I have a blank card i'm going to sned them and I don't know what to write inside.
They gave me their old sofa & loveseat to me because I am moving out soon. All I can think of sounds cheezy. 'Thank you for giving me your old sofa?!' that doesn't sound very good. Please help me with this, I am so horrible at phrasing thank you's.

I've only been around her once, we met at a concert a few months ago. My bf and I aren't very serious; we've been together about a year and a half, but are taking things very slow. His mom isn't rude, but she doesn't really like anyone her son is with. She bought me a cute bracelet for my birthday two months ago. So anyway, does this mean I should buy her something for Christmas? I have no problem doing so, I just don't want to look stupid if I do or don't... Thanks!!!

My sister in law was recently hired at my company as the HR Assistant. I really don't feel comfortable with her knowing how much I make and would like to express this discomfort to the HR Director, her boss. The only thing is, it's only the two of them that work in the HR department and I don't want this to get back to my sister inlaw (they are both gossip queens). What should I do? Are there any rights that would protect a family member's information in the workplace?
