A question came up earlier (in another category) and the answers all seemed to fall in a line, I thought (after reading them) this is ridiculous! Why can't we just apologize for our mistakes? So, my question to you: Is it really that hard to do the right thing? Why? or Why not then?

It is always easier to do the wrong thing, plain and simple. It has been said that some of the hardest words to say are I love you (and mean it) and I'm sorry.Sometimes when we make mistakes we are afraid of being judged by others. No one wants to hear the words " You disapointed me" or " I told you so".It takes great courage to do the right thing, especially if you are going against popular opinion.I think we just feel vunerable when we face the fact we are mere mortals and have flaws and weaknesses.Folks all we can do our best each day,no one can do better than that.

I often wonder the same thing. Came to the conclusion that most people don't know what the right thing is or is hoping to find a way out of it. Just saying your sorry for a mistake admits you where wrong. People don't like to admit they where wrong. Not saying that's right. Just lead by example hopefully people will follow.

The answer is no, it is not too hard to do the right thing. If you ever run into anyone that refuses or too lazy, to do the right thing...you won't get them to admit that they need to do something to correct themselves....too late, they are just too damn lazy.

No wonder Asia is so far ahead of us in everything.

It is only hard if I am unwilling to follow God's Holy WORD, the Bible. It is The Voice of God, I hide His WORD in my Heart so I will not Sin against Him, it is a light to my path, and a lamp to my feet. His Book will keep me from Sin, and Sin will keep me from His Book ! With His WORD, I will know to do the right thing.

As a rule I generally do the right thing. I don't tolerate fools but I would never call a person that, so if you take that as me doing the right thing, you know me.

When our emotions are involved, it's not always easy to see what "the right thing" is.
