I wouldn't say that you're mean, but others might interpret it to either be stuck-up, self-absorbed or too shy. In general, people who are viewed as friendly are liked by more and ultimately go farther in life than those of the same skills who just aren't very friendly. It doesn't mean you have to hang with this girl, but who benefits by you ignoring her if she's just trying to be nice?

Yes. Why does it bother you that she's "weird" are you afraid people think you are weird?
Honestly if you genuinely felt that the girl was weird and your not, it wouldn't have bothered you to wave back. Why would it? You probably didn't wave back, because of fear. You probably are insecure and felt that if you waved/acknowledged/accepted this person she just will drag you down to your level, and others would think your weird too!!
And you must feel guilty for doing it for asking this question. So next time if the girl waves again-don't let you insecurities get to you..just wave back. Nothing negative will come from it. And it will save you from feeling guilty later on!

Yes you were mean. You could have smiled or waved at her. What makes her weird? Don't judge people because they are different from you. You might be passing up the greatest friend that you will ever have. Everybody is different one way or another. Give her a chance.

Yeah, I think it's being mean. Even if she's not your friend, you could still be polite and acknowledge her, since she was nice enough to wave to you. And how do you know she's weird? Have you ever talked to her or are you going by someone else's opinion of her? Don't judge people based on other people's opinions. Remember...what goes around comes around. Would you like it if someone treated you like that?

Acting like that can be interpreted by others as being full of yourself or stuck up...is that what you want people to think of you as? Who cares if she's weird? Like you're Miss Perfect?
Next time just wave at her, it won't kill you.
Oh, and by the way, treat others the way you want to be treated.

Yes, you're mean. You're the b word. She was just being nice, you could at least wave back. I bet your friends were watching. She might seem weird, but you're no better than her. ANd that princess cinderella is the same. I hope you both grow up!

Then you are the stuck-up one. And as for her being "weird", if everyone were the same the world would be a very boring place.

We are all human beings. You treat another human as you would want to be treated. How would you like it if you "are" the weird one according to her?
