I'm agnostic and I dont really want to go to church anymore. I'm 20 but still live with them, I can't afford to move out yet, should I just go for them, or tell them I dont want to? How do I talk to them about this without everyone getting angry?

- in april of this year a friend of mine asked me could she borrow $100. because she had spent more money than she was supposed to. she's addicted to ebay.her husband established a budget for her to save money. i loaned the money without hesitation.
= during the summer this same friend had surgery & called me to borrow more money this time to cover her co-pay for a pain medication. i loaned her $50.
= the next day she purchased a clothing item and gave it to my oldest daughter. i was angry but did not say anything.
= on sunday past i called her asking her to repay her loans... the first thing out of her mouth was that she didn't owe me anything; the money was a gift.
=i'm a housewife.
= she gave me $50...i did not speak to her for almost 72 hrs. then i emailed her to explain why i was upset.
= she gave me $100 today but was visibly angry.
= was i wrong to ask her to repay the loans?
= should i have waited longer?
= why do i feel so guilty?
= i'm sad but she's angry, why?

He goes out all the time with no shirt on, I mean he has a nice body if you're looking at him from the front because he works out and he has a few packs here and there, but sideways, he's so skinny that he appears flat !!!

I think being shirtless in public is disgusting!!!

Today my family went to a church sale at a church I have occasionally attended for years. This woman knows me by sight, she does not know anything about me personally. After I had gathered my purchases, my husband ordered us lunch in the building and we sat down for a moment to eat.The dinng area is within the parameters of the church hall and frequently shoppers stop to dine and then go pay. This woman came into the room where my family was dining and visiting and stated " I am taking your purchases to be totaled. I will get a cart." I told her no thank you, that I would pay after my family finished eating. a few minutes later, she came up again and yelled at my husband that she was taking my things NOW.She stated I must be hiding something, or wating for the lower prices. It got loud. My husband offered to let the priest referee. This woman knew my ex-husband and liked him. I never told anyone that my ex-husband hit me and cursed me before I left him. No one's business. Any ideas?

I hated wearing them. When I was at my desk, it would always get stuck in my drawer or just plain be in my way.

My roommate has a very insecure relationship with her boyfriend of 8 months. They argue constantly and she is ALWAYS complaining to me about it. He doesn't have his own place - he sublets rooms every month though he's always here. She mentioned having him just start staying here and paying us rent since he's always here anyway. I don't see him often since they're always hanging out in her room, but I also live in a small NYC apartment and did not initially agree to live with them two. Though the extra money sounds tempting, it's not worth it since they have such an unstable relationship. Part of me thinks she wants to have him here so she can keep tabs on him all the time. I'm afraid that since I said no, he'll just subelt a place but stay here instead just to spite me. Even though he doesn't interfere with me, it's still my apartment too and I'm a little sick of him being here. I would never ask for my boyfriend to move in with us. Am I being unreasonable? How can I handle this?

I got married last month in Las Vegas. My sister is giving my husband and I a party. This is not a shower, and not an occasion where I am expecting gifts. However, I know that some people may bring gifts. In this instance, do I open the gifts at the party, or should I wait until later? I have heard different perspectives. Some say that you open gifts at a shower, but not at a party. Other people are of the opinion that it is tacky not to go ahead and open the gifts that people bring. I don't want to offend anyone! What is the proper protocol here! Thanks!

I want to study one year in Japan through an exchange program. How do I convince my mom to let me go?

She suggested it once, so I know she has thought about it..

How do I approach her and ask her if it's okay with her?

One of the impediments she would put is the price of 8000 dollars (I'm in Mexico), but the school I'm going to in two years is much more expensive than that anyway, So I can tell her that..

Well, any Ideas? I've started gathering info from the net, I am thinking of printing it for her or just be ready for any question she asks.

Oh, and my Dad is okay with it.

I was interviewed for a job yesterday in a respectable company, and the boss comes from a popular background. Although I think the interview went fine, I felt the boss (interviewer) was talking too much that I didn't share as much as I have wanted. Half the time I was just affirming her opinions with, "I agree", or "I believe so too". I enjoyed the interview and conversation overall and am dying to get in the company. Is it okay to write the boss, what should I tell her?
