Yes, in our first little dingy apartment. And I will tell you something. The only thing worse than their arguments was having to listen to their make-up sex. They had two speeds: "I am going to kill you" and "I am going to screw your brains out". They seemed to enjoy both equally. We, however, did not share their enthusiasm.

Be careful with people like that. I did live under a couple like that. She was the violent one. One night friends and I came back from a movie, she had him up in a tree throwing ricks at him. Another night I woke up to the sound of glass breaking, a lamp I think, maybe more, and all of a sudden there was a big thud as he had pulled her out of bed and she hit the floor. you should have heard the yelling, screaming, and cussing after that. As soon as my lease was up I got out of there. Then a few years later I was reading the paper the Sunday morning, it seems Saturday afternoon there was a bad accident on the highway just outside of town. She was drunk and was chasing him down the highway, bumping him as often as she could. She ran him off the road, the car flipped, and landed on a car coming the opposite direction killing a mother and baby daughter. He was drunk too and was injured but not too bad. They sent her to prison for a long time, and I don't know what happened to him. All the time I lived there I was scared one day I would somehow get caught up in their fights. Weekdays were not too bad, most of the violence happened on weekends.

YES! I lived in an apartment surounded on three sides by a BUNCH of immigrants (I'm not anti-immigrant but this place was CROWDED!). The women stayed in one bedroom and every night I could hear the men beating the door down to get to them. I was very scary. Of course the cops never cared to respond when I called 911. :(

I had neighbors right next door who not only screamed on their front patio, but I could also hear them having sex through my bedroom wall. Basically, it would be quiet then suddenly the girl would go, "F*** me! F*** me!" Then they'd both come. Geez.

As for upstairs neighbors, in the same building I had these idiots above me who would VIOLENTLY stomp on my bedroom ceiling. They knew I could hear it (no one's that stupid), so what got me was, what the hell where they thinking? Losers.

Fortunately, I don't live there anymore. I brand that place as hell on earth (yes, there was more drama there than I posted here). No, but I lived next door to a couple who fought all the time. One morning bright & early he blew her away with a shot gun & her body fell through the partition that separated the two apartments. He shot her in the face & her brains, blood & gore splattered all over my living room. It was a gory mess.
When the police arrived, I told them, "I'm not cleaning this up!"
They just laughed.

no,but I lived next door to a couple who was very loud with their love making and that was disgusting to listen to. People can be very inconsiderate. I've moved since then and refuse to ever live above, below, or share a wall with anyone again. My own space is all i need.

Feel for you....I bet it's aggravating.
Staple a heavy pretty quilt up on wall that they stay most might block some sound...
~~Good Luck~~
