My apartment complex is several blocks down from a grocery store and my neighbors have been bringing home their groceries and then leaving the carts in the complex.

There's one lady in particular that I think uses them to cart her laundry around and after she's done, she leaves it right by the elevator (which happens to face my living room window). There are currently two upstairs by the elevator and one under the stairwell on the 1st floor. The other night I went and pushed the cart in front of her door and left a note asking her not to do it anymore and mentioned how trashy it makes the complex look. No dice, the next morning it was back by the elevator.

The next day, I called the office to complain about the lady and see if they could remove the carts. The manager said OK but now it's 3 days later and all the carts are still there! What do I do?

I was invited to a friend's beach house for jewish new year - the family will have a morning service followed by a lunch.

I know some people see me eating a lot & they call me greedy. Why is that the case if I'm not obligated to share my food that I bought with my money? & when they call me that, I offer them some of my food, & they say they don't want any. Are they just calling me this to be mean?

I ask many questions-not just on here, but in real life, too. I haven't had much experience with things. People get annoyed because they say I ask questions people my age should already know. But if you've never experienced things or have never been told, then how would you know?

And if they don't....the kids will still get the father's name....why is that? And when men want to change their last name to the woman's it's seen as such degredation to them....it was in the news a couple of months ago...the San Diego man who couldn't change the last name to his wifes....strange

I know this is a weird question, but I just found out that I am going to Virginia Beach tomorrow (Friday), and will get back Sunday. We will be staying in a little cabin, and the shower is public, and these really gross me out. If I take a shower Friday morning before we leave, and then do not take one during the trip, is that too long to go without one? I just hate the idea of taking a shower in that public shower thing!

What do you think?

My childhood friend is holding a party. I am going to meet her after a very long time and so want to gift her and her hubby something really nice. I was thinking of something that has utility for both, wife and husband. This will be my first gift, after I have started earning. a couple weeks ago, i was out buying some chickpeas at an arab store. i found some mango drink, and decided to buy it. it was expired, and i got sick off of it. so i blew the whistle on him, and his store shut down, and he's living with us, because he wants to repay us, and because i ruined his business. now its getting real bad. he cooks for us every day, and stinks up the house, and all the food he makes is really spicy, and the kids cant eat it, since one of my kids is a tv addict. and he always plays this annoying oboe like instrument. and he also pulled the chair on my father while he was visiting, and sings this annoying song played on some instrument called the ood. like the song is "who need the avenue market" then he goes on the roof and cries, and the kids are always afraid when he does that. the only way to get rid of him is to travel to qatar, and help him get his store back by the first owner of this chain

I've started to noticed little nuiances that are present in men from all social classes. On the "Real World" , Dunbar has really been dumping on Parisa..it reminds me of what my cousin's boyfriends have done to her. Comments like..."There are way hotter girls out there than you"..or "I called you because I am bored an horny". Its like they don't even see you as a real person. You are a sex object or their dumping ground..if you allow it. Why does this behavoir occur and why do they think its ok?

I got this cute pencil skirt that's grey and thought it was adorable, problem was, I couldn't find anything to GO with the skirt, when I did I got this sleveless black turtle neck, with those and black shoes or should I just go buy the new grey plaid ("Mary Jane's") from payless? I don't understand if you are suppose to eat with the kind of chopsticks they give you at restaurants like Miyabi; the pretty coloured ones with pictures usually of geishas at the top. Or are they for hair or decoration?
I don't believe I've ever seen anyone eating with them...

Awhile back I was at the airport, standing in line at the outdoor baggage check-in. My large, bright RED suitcase was standing up with my laptop (secured in a laptop carry case) on top of it. There was a rather errr, ahem, large woman in line next to me. She finished checking her bags and was waving her hands around animatedly talking with her husband. During her apparent excitement her very large rear end bumped REALLY hard into my laptop sending it flying with a loud thud as it landed. She turned around, looked at me standing there with my mouth open, looked down at my laptop, and said woops! and just walked away. No apology, nothing. My suitcase was right next to me! My attention was mildly diverted towards the skycap or I would have grabbed it. I didn't have time at the moment to chase her down and plug the laptop in to see if still worked. Fortunately, it works fine but a large chunk broke off the corner. What would you have done? Figured it was your own fault or chased her down?

I have a very nasty habit of holding spit in my mouth until I can get to somewhere where I can spit (Drinking fountin, sink....) It only happens sometimes (mostly when I don't talk for a long pieriod of time) how can I break this habit?? I can't swallow it, I would probably through up!! I also have allagries!! Thanks!! Ps. I know this is nasty!!

My mum called last night at 8pm and said she was bringing her boyfriend around to look at my car. I hadn't even said it was for sale! We are moving to the desert at the end of the year and will only take one of our cars with us so she assumed I'd be selling it BUT I hadn't mentioned it to her and I had a girl coming on Monday to look at it and she was going to pay $3000, my mum's boyfriend was told by her that the car would be $1500!!!!!!!!!!!! She just guessed! I told her and she said she will compensate me an extra $1000 but I think it's stuipid because he is buying the car for a friend who crashed hers and I don't see why my mum should put in $1000 for some lady to have a free car. Grr I am angry, she did give us her car to use for the rest of the year but still, half an hour after she called me my car was gone JUST LIKE THAT. Is this unfair or not?

My fiance and I recently had an engagement party and are writing out our thank you notes...I was wondering if, when we do one for his parents and write "Dear..." we should put their first names, or "mom & dad"...neither one sounds right since it's from both of us! Any advice?? Thanks in advance!
