I've started to noticed little nuiances that are present in men from all social classes. On the "Real World" , Dunbar has really been dumping on Parisa..it reminds me of what my cousin's boyfriends have done to her. Comments like..."There are way hotter girls out there than you"..or "I called you because I am bored an horny". Its like they don't even see you as a real person. You are a sex object or their dumping ground..if you allow it. Why does this behavoir occur and why do they think its ok?

Men treat women the way they act (and visa versa), so be respectable, give respect, and require respect above all else. Comments from men like the ones you have cited above are unacceptable.
It occurs only as much as it is allowed. Case & point: Why would Parisa lay down with a man that talks to her that way?

That kind of behavior can only continue if you allow it to continue. If I were Parisa I would just ignore him and refuse to engage with him. A person's nasty behavior cannot continue if they do not have a willing target. Dunbar probably has his own esteem issues so to combat that he treats women badly.

They think its okay because the women ALLOW it.
if some man called me because he was "bored and horny" and I tell him to turn on some porn, and give his hand some exercise. Sadly, so many women would go running to meet up with a scumbag like this.
I'm not the prettiest, but if some guy told me I was ugly to my face, I'd know he's just trying to make his penis feel bigger. Poor sap!

For some reason, like will smith said people confuse nice with soft. just because I'm a nice guy doesn't mean I can't kick butt. same just because some guys are rude jerks doesn't mean they are tough. unfortunately that's not how things are portrayed though in the male world.
