I don't know why people do that either. There seems to be no reason at all for it.
My guess is that they're probably just trying to be funny or it's a hint to get some of the food.
Some people just feel a need to comment on everything.
I hope this doesn't sound over the top because it's more than this one situation but really, is it any wonder why people get eating disorders.
They are just calling you greedy for eating a lot, it doesn't have anything to do with your sharing. They don't want any, so my guess is that they're jealous that they can't or don't eat the way you do.
I don't consider it greedy at all. It's none of my business if someone wants to eat, when they eat or how much they eat. I don't know what other people have been eating all day or how often they eat certain food or how much exercise they do so I am in no position to pass judgement.

If it's your own food that you're eating then it's definitely not greedy. You just eat more than them maybe. So what?
It's only greedy if you are at some gathering where food is being offered and you take really a lot, possibly not leaving enough for everybody else.
It sounds like they are just being mean.

You're not mentioning why you eat so much, maybe it's because you like food, maybe you have a medical condition or maybe it's psychological. If overeating is affecting your health, some of the people who are calling you greedy might do so because they care about you, if not, then yeah, they're just being mean.
The answer: it depends on WHY you eat a lot.You seem to have left out that part of the question.

I like eating a lot too, but I always share what I eat because I feel guilty when I eat while other's don't. But I don't think that eating too much means greediness.

once you ask what an apostate is in our very own words, i think of you propose to ask how does the Bible define apostasy considering our very own words or comments count little or no up against the scriptures. i'm optimistic you may agree that all of us decide for to get God's viewpoint on the situation. That being reported, apostasy is particularly a defection – a non secular defection. The top apostate who comes comfortably to our minds is Judas Iscariot. He replaced into as quickly as a believer yet intentionally defected – turning his returned on what he knew to be the authentic faith. however the scriptures do no longer describe him as demeaning and degrading those with whom he as quickly as worshipped (the different disciples); nor do the scriptures describe him as talking against Jesus or against God. nonetheless, he defected from the authentic faith. in this way, he became an apostate. Apostates many times do denigrate people who as quickly as have been their brothers and sisters; and so they many times denigrate the classes they as quickly as embraced. besides the reality that that's a salient component of their traitorous character, it is no longer constantly the case. yet enable us to assert, for the purpose of this communicate, that the apostate Judas did talk against the different apostles. And he did talk against the religion that became wide-unfold as Christianity. needless to say, he could be talking against God because of the fact the apostles, the religion and the classes of Christ all stem from God, isn't that so? the popular definition of an apostate although, is one that intentionally defects from the authentic faith. no longer one that has doubts or one that is puzzled. The habit is planned and is an outright rejection of what he as quickly as replaced into and believed interior the authentic faith. It does not unavoidably persist with, besides the fact that, that a disfellowshipped guy or woman is an apostate. Many have been disfellowshipped and returned to the congregation. It must be remembered: an apostate is one that has rejected the authentic faith. So then, we ought to first be certain it is the authentic faith. working example, God does not evaluate one that leaves a pagan faith to become a genuine Christian an apostate. it is unreasonable and unscriptural. So purely leaving any faith and transforming into something else does not make you apostate. Hannah J Paul

you might be overeating to satisfy a insecurity which is actually increasing that insecurity when others comment to you about it. it is unhealthy to overeat or 'eat a lot' but it also depends on your metabalism, your excerise routine , meds, but if you are overweight this could lead to obesity which is a ranked a top killer later in life. you should eat in portions through out the day, up to 5-6 times and drink plenty of water. the people who call you greedy may in fact be trying to be subtle with out saying what they really want to say, that you are eating too much and it shows. Please I mean no offense and I can understand your dilemma, I over eat at times and I am not at my desired weight but I have seen that I don't need to eat huge meals at one sitting which leave me feeling drained to knwo that through out the day, smaller meals are better and I can maintain a variety vs everything all at once.

They should pay for their own food if they want any. Don't listen to them, they're just being assholes. Just don't take most of the food like at a party or something like that. Then that would be gluttony.
