If this is for a business meeting, go ultra traditional professional, or close as you can reasonably get to it.. Hair plain, and up and back, one non-ornamental hair thingey, it has to be useful, not decorative, and it either has to match your hair, or your outfit.. White blouse, black suit [matched pieces, not separates], black 1-2 inch stacked chunky heel shoes in matte black, matching briefcase. Nails short, clear polish, or none at all. Makeup that is not visible as makeup, pair of tiny stud earrings, in gold or silver, or none at all. No other jewelry except a wedding ring, not even an engagement ring, and a plain, small watch that matches the earrings. Skirt no more than 1 inch above the knee, and it should be A-line, blouse should be a shirt, no buttons undone, or a jewel necked blouse with absolutely no ornamentation on it. Grey suit acceptible in hot weather, or in a relaxed office environment, engagement ring OK if you are in a place where you are known and it is not huge or blingy. The old office rule was no moare than two pieces of jewelry, so if you had your wedding ring and a watch, forget the necklace etc. and the hair thingey would have counted as jewelry. LOL, I gripe about our society and the disappearing rules, but that is one set of rules I'm glad to wave bye-bye at. Think along the lines of the female lawyer in the movie "Erin Brockovitch", or Elle's classmate in "Legally Blonde".
Now if your big meeting is with a love, go little black dress, not too sexy. Men mostly love black, are impressed by a classy woman, and most would not admit it, but they love a bit of mystery, too. Wear something not too low cut, and not too short.
If it is your long lost parent, go church dress, or tea party dress. Dads and Moms usually like girly girl dresses.
We did not know who else was at your big meeting, so I guessed at it. Future in-laws I left out, we would have to have lots of details on them to get it right.

This would probably be a better question to ask in the career section if it's for a job or some kind of interview. Something that is simple and not revealing. A blouse and slacks or even a business suit. They even sell clothing like this at places like Walmart and Target. Leather or leather like shoes that are in good shape and minimal make up too.

Visit the organization where your meeting will occur.
Observe what the dress conduct is for the level of people you'll be equated; dress your best in the manner that you observe.
Call the administrative assistant for the department and explain the situation; ask for recommendations

Mmm...something that makes you look profesional, independent, kinda rich I think you should go for the classic white blouse and a black-short skirt with some heels and jewelry
And dont forget also to wear confidence, determination, profesionalism and a good attitude picture them naked and that will give ya some confidense

Wear a smart skirt suit. Not too long, and certainly not too short. If you can find a dark grey suit that would be great and you want to accent the suit with a contrasting color such as red, orange, or a shade of blue.
