It actually happened to me yesterday (July 14) at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas. She was a modest fine-looking woman. I just responded courteously and wished her good luck.

Just curious. It just worries me about the ones in wheelchairs. How can they change a tire? And how do they get gas.

Do you think it's ok to breast feed in public?

I think that people have become embaressed by this because for one: the breast has become a symbol of sex
and two: they are just prude or embaressed of it because they are extremely conservative.
I think it's natural and it in MOST cultures it is thought to be normal, it's just that us americans have decided what's right and what's in this world and even when visiting other countries we snicker and make snide comments about what's "normal" and what's not because some americans seem to think they own the whole world...
*cough cough conservatives cough cough...

anywayyyyyyyyssssss, what do you think about breast feeding in public?

My ex wants to see our daughter whenever it is convenient for him but practically refuses to watch her unless it was his idea. He makes it sound like I am completely incoveniencing him if I ask him to watch her for a little while, yet I care for her 24/7 with no help and he doesn't even pay his child support so I really struggle. If he gives me just $20 he expects me to pay him back even if I am very low on money for food and rent for our 3 year old daughter. He is currently fighting the child support payments and so I literally recieve no money. He wants a relationship with our daughter and wants to see her whenever he wants yet he won't even put money toward putting a roof over her head. What is he thinking? Why does he think he's such a great dad?? What kind of Dad isn't even willing to help put food on the table?

I'm not a racist and I know there are some people of all races who don't tip. but there seems to be a large percentage of African-Americans who choose not to tip. Any thoughts?

Have you ever posted on a forum to express your opinion or in response to a previous post only to have somone reply by calling you stupid or swearing at you?

Anyone else find this annoying and cowardly? I feel these idiots who do this are hiding behind the internet. I used to get really pissed but now I just ignore these idiots.

Honestly I don't understand why people do this. If someone swore at me in person or called me names, they would get smacked. But online I see no reason to respond to this because it is stupid and childish. Doing so would only lower you to their level.

I mean I would never not hold the doors or elevators open for someone.

I don't get how some people would just let the door slam shut even though they look back and realize that someone is right behind them.

Those rude don't deserve to live on the same planet as I.

I used to have to turn the water on whenever I went to the bathroom because I couldn't stand the thought that people could hear me doing my business.

I had to get over it when I went to college and we had a community bathroom. I would try and hold it until late at night when there was never anyone in the bathroom! That got old fast.

So what about you?

Someone asked a question about someone going barefoot into a store and someone replied with "maybe they cannot afford shoes". Ok if someone was in fact severly poor but they did not want the inconvenience and embarassment of being barefoot wouldn't shoes be easy to attain provided they lived in the USA in a decent sized town? I am sure some good soul would help a little kid out with a pair of shoes or the school would. Basically what I am getting at is not being able to afford shoes is a poor excuse to be barefoot in public, it is more than likely their choice. What do you think?
