10 to 15 % of the price is usually what is appropriate for a tip, however, it all depends on the service bringing the food to you.

I would recommend giving 15% percent of your bill. If your bill is $20.00, your tip would be around $2.50 for example. Your server will be happy! Your three dollar tip is appropriate.

i would say anywhere from $3 - $6 is a good tip.

But dont stress if you dont have enough. In college we always used to scrape together barely enough for a $1 tip.. from young people its sometimes expected.

The tip should not depend on how hot the pizza is, but how hot the individual delivering it is.

I don't think there is a customary amount, but I try to give at least the 15% that we give waitresses. It seems to me that pizza delivery men work just as hard as a waitress.

When we order, because of how far away we are from the resturant, we usally try to cover at least a gallon of gas. If its crappy weather, maybe more.

It depends on how far they have to drive. I give no less than five bucks but i deliver two nights a week for extra cash.

Well i always give at least $5.00 gas prices are crazy high, they proably cant find your house, and if yuoer in a bad neighbor hood or its raining they may be going through a lot of crap just to bring you your dinner.
