LOL @ these people. I mentioned their race to give you an idea of what kind of party it is. A Mexican party, and you know how loud mexicans can get. And lol @ people who think im racist for saying that.

I know what you are going through. I brought a grinding halt to it with my own very massive stereo system. I set the speakers out on the patio, and played classical music.......at 200 watts per channel, that really got their attention. They called the police on me! I told the police, when they stop their loud parties, then I will stop mine. Please don't misunderstand me. I love a good party, but one must keep in mind there are others to consider.

LOL! the neighbors from there and four blocks away said the could hear "Flight of the Valkyrie". They knew exactly what was going on. Especially when the cannons were going off at 100+ decibels.

My new neighbors found out rather quickly, they do not want to engage in a pi$$ing match with me where the loud music goes. I will win. BTW, now we just party together using my sound system. We also lower the volume at 10pm for those who must get up early the next morning.

Be sure to let them know (politely) that their noise is a problem. Try to get their phone number so you can call them if their parties are getting too loud. Some of my friends who lived in a neighborhood liked to have this type of party in their backyard, but were pretty polite about turning off the music if the neighbors complained. As a last resort you could contact the police, but I'm sure your neighbors would appreciate it if you at least try to let them know first.

I go through this every couple of nights too! Here in the suburbs my family built a home for some quiet, since we had come from New York. But recently the empy fields around us have been COMPLETELY filled in with homes. Now, I don't know about Mexicans but yes, hispanics are very social people and I am constantly hearing them yelling and laughing at night. Personally, I just ignore it but I suggest tipping the police on a noice polution. If these people are so loud that they are disturbing your neiborhood then they should definitely tone it down, and who better to tell them than a police officer?

Look into noise ordinances. I have been asking neighbors for five years. They told me "We are Mexicans, and this is what we do... if you don't like it... you can leave"

The problem will just get worse. We are controlling it with an $1800 fine for music heard over 200 feet. Even then, they sometimes refuse to stop.

If it's every weekend, you should first talk to your neighbors about the consistency and loud noise/music. If that doesn't work, you can call the police. They will help you on this. Also, you might want to ask your other neighbors if they are annoyed as well and you can band together to solve the noise and party music problem.....good luck Amigo ;)

Wow-you should live in my neighborhood. The white people next door have parties every night of the week. They play really loud music and toss their beer cans on the lawn.
The black people down the street have parties too. Oh and the Asians two doors down-wow-you should hear their parties. Every Saturday? I'd love it if the parties were only one night a week.

We are a happy people with lots to celebrate. We welcome every opportunity to have the family over and share food, drink, and music. However, we are also good neighbors. Talk to them. Ask them to turn it off at midnight (if it's a weekend, that's a generally accepted answer). During the week, 10pm is quiet time, especially if there are schoolkids and working people in the mix.

If you handle this with tact, you will likely be invited and that would really be a treat.

i kind of understand what you're going through ,my neighbors are hispanic too and they have a party every weekend also but you know it the weekend so its not a big deal if you don't have to work the next day ,and if its bothering you that much you can talk to them just ask them to slow down the music and noises after 12 am ,if they don't listen call the cops.

We lived in a Mexican neighborhood before that had a lot of "La Cucaracha" Music all day and night. I mean, I like hispanics and I speak Spanish myself (learned) but they are passing the limits if they party that late.

I would go to them and ask them kindly to respect the neighborhood's peace and quiet at night. Tell them they can party as long as they are quiet. I dunno if that would work. Or maybe you could ask another hispanic friend of theirs to tell them? Or leave a note (in English or Spanish) Here's an example.

Querido (insert name of neighbor here)

He tenido durmiendo esta semana por que hay tantas fiestas y ruida en tu casa en la noche. No estoy tratando ser grosero pero me gustaria que no hacen tanta ruida durante la noche cuando estoy tratando dormir.

Gracias,
(your name)
