imagine:
you texted your friend something funny that happened to you on the way home
she texted back her response (things like haha, real funny, and empathised with how embarassed you must have been and stuff and rephrased the joke)

should I reply to her reply, or it is right to just leave it like that?

Ok so I'm quitting my job (finally!) and I want to tell my Boss to not tell any of my coworkers, because I want to be the first to tell them. Especially one coworker who recommended me for the job! So how can I phrase this so that my boss wont get offended? Or should I not say this at all?

I rrecently started sleeping in the nude. I find it to be more relaxing and I slept a whole lot better. I have a feeling I will begin to be a constant nude sleeper. But now I have started to walk around the house naked. Yes I have the curtains closed and whenever the door bell rings I put clothes. I live by myself and I only do this while I am alone. I have been doing this for about a week now and the experience is great. I'm not saying I'm a nudist except in the privacy of my own house. But its great, the feeling of being free and relaxing while nude is awesome. Nothing holding you down or anything. Does anyone else do this? I do not believe it to be wrong as I am not offending anyone. What are you views on being naked at home? IF you are married, does your partner go nude as well

My boyfriend and I have been together three years.. He is 20 and I am 19.. Recently his mom has been acting a little weird.. It was my birthday and he asked me if he should order tickets to a local baseball team for the 4th of july ( It always sells out ) I was like yes! because we had talked about going, fireworks and fun stuff etc.. His mom heard and said " You aren't going to grandmas?? You don't know how long she'll have to live!" He's never went to his grandma's on the 4th before.. even he was confused.. Then last night she comes in his room at like 12:30 and is like when are you bringing Heather (me) home.. and he's like after the movie.. why?? and she didnt answer and walked away.. Then the next morning she said to him " are you going to church with me? " He said no.. and she was like "so you can spend all night with your girlfriend and not go to church with me??" Im confused because we've always gotten along well! ( Me and his mom ) Think she feels like shes losing her son?

I don't wear shorts in the summer or hot weather and I wear long jeans and pants all summer long,
not that I don't have nice legs I just don't want to show them because I don't want people to stare or guck at my legs, also i'll feel naked and like um in my underware. My best friend Wendy who is also 13 lives across the street from me. She also doesn't wear shorts either in the summer, both are Moms are constanly nagging us to start to wear shorts. Today me & my Mom went across street to visit Wendy and her Mom (Mrs. Beck) My Mom & Mrs Beck wearing their short shorts and scandals and me and Wendy were wearing pants and sneakers. Wendy starting complain how hot it was and that her thighs are sticking to her pants. my Mom & Mrs. Beck told Wendy that you should wear shorts, Wendy yelled backto her Mom and She said " I hate shorts and they look dumb", And I'm not wearing them" Mrs. Beck then said she was going in to make some lemonade for us and she told Wendy to come in help her We started to hear to Mrs. Beck & Wendy yelling at each other, I peaked in Wendy's bed rm window Mrs. Beck kept repeatingly telling Wendy to take her pants off, and put on some shorts that she bought for her.
A couple of minutes later Mrs Beck came back out with the lemonade and Wendy came out right behind her
Wendy was wearing short shorts and pair of scandals too. My Mom told Wendy" Now you getting smart" you got nice legs and look good wearing shorts. Wendy told us her Mom made her put them on . Now Wendy looks just like My Mom & Mrs Beck.
then My Mom spilled a glass of lemorade on my jeans, and she said the glass slipped, I went home to change
into another a pair of jeans and When I got in my room, my Mom came in and she was holding a bunch of new pairs of shorts
and she said I went shopping with Mrs. Beck, now it's your turn to put on shorts, she said it's too hot too be wearing pants all the time, how would you handle this ?

My aunt who we are staying with this summer is thinking she is 20! She dresses in tight or low jeans, and doesn't wear long enough shirts. What the main problem is (and which I am sure she is unaware of) is her underwear showing! If she bends over in front of me or my siblings, we can see her victoria secrets waistband (yes we know what brand it is!). Now, she isn't trying to be a **** or anything, because other than that causal wear, she dresses approporiately.

It seems very awkward to tell her that her panties are hanging out the back of her jeans, hence why I don't know what to say! My little sister and brother are very naughty though, as they drop stuff down her underwear without her noticing. Later she digs up coins or lego blocks from her underwear, looks confused, then continues her ways. But I feel talking to her about it is best rather than dropping stuff down her underwear or snapping her underwear! She's my aunt!

So how should I deal with this?

Why do people give other people's questions a thumbs down on YA, if they don't curse, or even say anything rude? Is it because they don't agree with their answer?

I was standing in line at a local Starbucks trying to get a coffee. You know, a regular damn coffee! And these two old people are in front of me taking their sweet old time. The old woman was counting her pennies out. Im a working mom, so I didn't have time for this! I said "Excuse me, but could you please just use a credit card? I don't have all day." The old woman snapped at me "I don't use credit cards. I only use cash." And I said "Well, you're using too much of it- Im in a hurry here!" Ignoring me, the old lady proceeded in counting her change out. People behind me look irratated as well, and the cashier is trying to be patient. Out of impatience, I shoved the old croon out of the way and ordered my coffee. The old man yelled at me, and I said "Tell your wife to move a little ******* faster next time!" The old lady looked at me in horror, and then dropped to the floor. She died instantly, apparently from a heart-attack. Everyone in line gasped, and the old man yelled at me.

Is it appropriate to send flowers to a coworker if she recommended you for your job and you are quitting only after a month? I worked with her somewhere else and when I found out the place she's working at was hiring, I applied and she spoke highly of me to the Boss and to the people at HR which resulted in me getting the job. But I've accepted a better job offer elsewhere and I feel bad that I'm leaving after a short time, but I'm very appreciative that she got me the job.

So do you think flowers are ok? If so, what kind of flowers?

I wear tighty whities. I am going to 8th grade next year. Mandatory changing rule is instituted in that grade for gym. If people get caught wearing tighty whities, you get pantsed every day. Happened to a few people. I really need to avoid this. Parents buy me my clothes including underwear. Parents are Chinese and question everything I ask for. Ask to go to a movie, they say why...I need a solution. Either avoid them which is virtually impossible without being late for class or ask parents. How to go about this is the problem. I need help. Anyone please help.

You can't get away from music being blasted at you all the time. It's usually non melodic rap type music. And why so loud? Do they think we are all deaf? If I go to the beach or out on a boat trip, I want peace and quiet. Shops and restaurants are as bad. If I go out for a meal with friends, I want to be able to talk to them and not have to shout to make myself heard. I love music, but in the right place at the right time.

Can I opt to buy the bride and groom an actual gift rather than give money if they specifically wrote on the invitation "Money-Box only"?

I don't want to attend a "charity" event, since that's what it sounds like to me!

Honestly, I've been keeping my feelings inside about this, but I wonder, does anybody feel the same??? I know I'm going to get some hate for this, but I get on a crowded bus, and I see somebody about 250 pounds taking up 2 seats, and it urks the h*** out of me. (I have to stand up and suffer because you're a fat a***.) I see one of them half dressed thinking it's cute and sexy, and it's not, it's gross. (There are Lane Bryants & Ashley Stewart clothing stores everywhere for them.) When I go shopping, there are more plus-size clothes than anything else. Their selections are endless. (Come on, normal-sized people still exist!) When I go into buffet resaturant, I have to wait forever for a table, because of them going to the buffet line about 1000 times. (Have you had enough? Put the fork down and move away from the table.) Is there anybody that feels the same way about overweight people?

I asked my date for the recipe - he says "it's a trade secret".
When later on, he asked me about how I made something, being the naive, nice person I gave him the recipe. I feel Extremely resentful of him now. How dare he not share the recipe with me (we weren't strangers. he was in love), and expected me to share mine? Unfair. I have broken up with this guy already, for many other reasons. Anyway, would it have affected you the way it did me? I should have gone for tit-for-tat, to turn on tables on him, so he realizes.

I hate it when people act all secretive about their recipes.

I was at IKEA today. It opened exactly one month ago, and it's still extremely busy, as it's the first IKEA store in our state. There was a family with three children, and all of the children had those wheelie sneakers with the wheels in them, and were skating around. The two younger, smaller children were sticking close to the parents, but the oldest child, a girl of about 12, was all over the place. She kept running into displays, and knocking things down, but worse, she kept running into people. She hit me twice, once hard enough to knock my purse and my loaded IKEA bag off my shoulder. I was annoyed, but I didn't get really angry until she ran into a very petite woman with a child on her hip. She hit the woman so hard that the woman actually fell forward, nearly dropping her child. She threw a hand out at the last minute and caught herself on a sofa. I shudder to think what would have happened had she been by the castered office chairs.

What does one politely say, and to whom?
