Do you actually know alot of Malaysians especially the chinese man do not wear an undershirt after from work or during dinner. It's not rude at all. But it's a trend for chinese people. It's like 9 out of 10 are not wearing an undershirt. They are not wearing any undershirt when reading newspaper or watching a television.

I think it's okay only if you are a have a fit body and not having any fat tummys but if you are someone who have not do any exercise or having a big fat tummy, then I suggest you should wear back your shirts.

You didn't say if this was for a formal ocassion or job interview etc. If you are wearing a fairly thin fabric shirt and this is a job interview, maybe you should either wear a jacket or an undershirt. If you're in a wedding you will have your jacket off at the reception, so do wear an undershirt. If for any other ocassion, then I don't see a need for an undershirt. Good Luck!

If it is your job and you are a waiter (like I was) then yes you should wear an undershirt.

If you are wearing a button down you should wear an undershirt.

However for t-shirts it's not rude to not where one. But at the same time, undershirts make you sweat less (or at least it's less noticeable, plus I just find it classier.

An undershirt looks better when you are trying to be formal. No one wants to see your man nipples. It's not rude but it does its job of being an undershirt.

It's not only rude, it's classless and immature. Always wear an undershirt, unless of course, you are wearing a T shirt.

No, for most situations . & some situations I don't care . If it's 90F outside & 105F inside ( greenhouses ), I am NOT wearing an undershirt ! ;D

What prompted this question , anyway ? Maybe you should be more specific .

That depends on what kind of shirt your wearing over it. If your wearing a shirt that is see through then maybe. but then that depends on where you are going. For example you wouldn't wear a see through shirt to a dinner party with no under shirt to meet your family for christmas.

Well it could be rude if you were at a party. ( Not a ordinary party but a out of control party). But at a wedding I think it is really polite because you at weddings you usually don't want your cha chas showing. But I think it is polite at weddingish parties not rock on partys.
