Make jewelry! Emmapee is right, and that is what I do too! It was easy to learn, and the equipment you need is cheap enough, if you go someplace like Wal-mart.
I started out with inexpensive beads, and made for myself, now I have more expensive designs, and I have made for others. I have even taught others to do this!
Lots of books out there, how to sew beads onto clothes and purses, how to crochet them, how to weave them, wire them, all kinds of things.
I used to embroider, and crewel, and needlepoint, I have done some big projects, that took a long time. Bead making is quicker, you can have a necklace and a bracelet and earrings in an hour, depending on how fancy, and how much time you spend planning it out.
andit is neat that you can have a matching jewelry set for every outfit, I do! and when you get tired of it, you can restring the beads, or use them for something else.
There are catalogues you can order out of, bead sales on the web, and Michaels and Hobby Lobby as well as some fabric and department stores sell beads. I live in a small community, and there are several bead stores.
Go online to Michaels, they have video on jewelry making.
and you can make gifts for your new neighbors!
Go for walks in the neighborhood, wave at people. You will soon have friends, especially if you are handing out free jewelry.

You could start exercising by walking around the 'hood and getting to know streets and stuff. Or if there's a coffee shop nearby, walk there, have a cup of coffee or iced tea and walk back home. Go to yard sales on the weekends. Read books and magazines. Volunteer somewhere you believe in. Learn to cook or crochet or knit.
Trust me, I'm mostly alone with my husband's job. It does get frustrating sometimes to find stuff besides the computer.

Go to the library... a cafe... find a church... sign up for "Community Education" classes, or sports... look in the newspaper for "Newcomers" clubs/groups (a.k.a. "Welcome Wagon) ... all these will get you OUTSIDE of your house, AWAY from your BF and neighbor, and mix with other people. You'll find friends among people who are doing things that YOU ALSO Like to do! So, if you DON'T like rollerblading, don't GO rollerblading... if you don't like the library, don't GO to the library, although you might be missing some very interesting people there!
Good luck and shut off that compu....> ZAP! <
