I work in a call center for a home improvement store (not disclosing the name). I help our stores with orders and what not. Sometime they just don't listen to what I'm telling them or they are ridiculously ignorant. I usually don't catch myself getting louder and louder while trying to explain things until it's too late and I've made the person mad at me. My quality assurance team has yet to catch one of the really bad ones. But, I know that they eventually will and it won't be good for me. I don't cuss or say anything bad about the person on the other line, but I do get rather loud when I get excited or upset. Any tips?

I always am smiling and am nice to them, yet I find that women never want me to hang around with them. Why is this?

A group of girls at work all go to lunch, pub together and never invite me...

And I am fun to be around - I would consider myself to have a good sense of humour, laid back and just want to enjoy life.

But why do women not want me as a friend? PLease be honest.

Thanks in advance.

I am 25 and work as an administrator in a university.

Its just me they single out. I do talk to them during the day as individuals.

I don't try too hard at all - I am very laid back and easy going and have been told Im a very good listener so its not as if I try and bully my way into conversation...

And whenever I enter the coffee/staff room - its like im invisible! :/

I dont mean to sound modest..but I am told that I am pretty..and beautiful even though I see 'beautiful' in people at work

I always thought that apologizing meant squashing the situation.

In the college dorms there's a sign up sheet for talent/mike night and I put my name on there just for fun and someone crossed out my name, I did it the second time and it was crossed out and a message said NO.

So I put a fake name. How do I find out who's been doing this? Don't I have a right to have fun and sign my name on there to have fun that night?

If you lived with a male roommate, not a boyfriend who you spilt an two bedroom apartment with and split all costs with, would be ok if he would occasionally casually walk around nude?

For example walk from the bathroom to his room or on very hot days (we have no AC)

It's embarrassing having to shave ones chin when one is a woman. Should I make excuses at work and nip off to the toilet to shave or pretend I'm putting on face cream on when it's in fact hair removing cream?

i asked this before and i got stupid answers from guys telling me to do sexual things. My "boy"friend (kinda complicated) is joining the marines and takes off in august. I love him very much and i want to get him a really thoughtful gift that will make him think of me when he is gone (he'll be in japan or germany for four years :-( the reason we aren't together). I am already making a very personal scrap book for him any other ideas? he doesn't collect anything and he isn't really into sports either, not a specific team at least

my girlfriend and I were at this resteraunt with my colleauge from work and after talking with my girlfriend and I for a couple of minutes he said, "you didn't tell me your girlfriend was a freaking JAP." I told him to take that back or else, and he said okay I'm sorry lighten up. My girlfriend rolled her eyes at his comment but I could tell she was annoyed. My girlfriend is Jewish, so I thought he was being kind of prejudiced, plus she's not spoiled at all. (I'm probablly more spoiled than she is.)

Today, I got caught chewing gum in class. My teacher is forcing me to write an apology letter to her, because she strictly forbids it. (She even commands people to spit it out at the beginning of class. ) I get pretty good grades, so she told me she was expecting a nice long essay length letter. There's only so much you can include in an apology letter, and I've covered all the basics : I'm sorry (which I am), it won't happen again, it was stupid and disrespectful etc. But that barely covers half the page! Any suggestions?

Ive been working in the Department as a secretary/admin for a year and I find this lecturer (whos very hot at 41 with kids) very attractive. There is definitely sexual chemistry between us. How should I approach him, that I just want sex from him? I know he finds me attractive by the way he gazes at me. Hes also quite a shy guy and very intelligent and articulate and hes leaving work in July.

I am a University graduate with a degree so Im not dumb and am fully aware of the repucussions. I cannot help nature - this attraction is really intense. I want this man so much (just one passionate night of sex). I would just like to know how to go about asking him....By the way - Im a Scorpio ;)

Hes leaving in a few months so shall I give him his present now?

I have created an original comic character. There is no other like it. I want to sell the concept to Marvel or ?. I want to be able to just walk in and put everything on the table. I know if they like the idea they will steal it without a second thought.

When did this start? It is "Excuse me." One does not have the right to say "Excuse you." It feels as if they are infringing upon my freedom as an American. Those are my boundaries they are infringing upon. It is "Excuse me" for it that person that feels the need to even open their mouth to say excuse anything. I am about to get into a confrontation with someone who says "Excuse you" when they are the ones that want to pass.

Have you ever taken someone on a date, and you're buying dinner, and they order the most expensive things on the menu? Is that a bummer, or something you've planned for "just in case"? Does what a person orders when you take them out for dinner affect your opinion of that person; and if so, in what way?

Ever try to sleep at night only to be awakened by a shriek, a thud and hysterical cries of "Oh my God ... Oh my Gawd .. My Gawd ...
GAAAAAAWWWWD .... NOOOOO " in a shrill gals voice. I thought my neighbour had just strangled a gal, until his lethargic baritone took over "Baby .... Oh Baby .... BAbbbbe ..." you know what I mean. It slowly dawned on my rising awareness that the two might as well be strangling one other, but voluntarily and with great pleasure. Dont get me wrong, every red blooded critter has a God given right to take care of their plumbing. By the same token a hard working man has a right to a quiet nights slumber. This went on for a while until one night when the neighbour was alone and I lacking access to the real deal popped in a chilli pepper video and turned on the volume to high heavens. Not only was there moaning and groaning but it was accompanied by trumpets and trombones. The next day my neighbor promised to do to me what he does to his gal. Is it fair? WHY?
