Absolutely. There's nothing wrong with casual nudity...it's something that people need to become comfortable with, because it's no big deal. Of course, you both need to be careful that it doesn't turn into something sexual that would make it uncomfortable for either or both of you.
During the academic year I actually live in an apartment with three other grad students, two guys and another girl, and I'm naked around the apartment more than I'm dressed. The atmosphere is very casual and we're all OK (or at least tolerant of) non-sexual nudity. I read and study naked, listen to music or watch TV and there's never been any sexual tension since we moved in last August. My point is that it can work if you and your roommate are mature enough and honest enough with each other to deal with it intelligently.

No I would not be okay with this. I lived with two other roommates when I was young. We all sat down and drew up a contract for the three of us to sign. One of the things on there was - NO Walking around in underwear or naked. Some others were
No eating special treats that one has purchased for oneself - (If it had a name on it, the item was not meant o be shared!)
No overnight guests unless approved by other roommates.
No smoking inside the house.
Those are some of the things that I can remember. It's a good thing if people who live together sit down and calmly talk about what bothers them. Perhaps a contract would help. Everyone can contribute and agree. Good Luck!

Now i am a guy but I've had several roommates in the past and the no nudity rule was pretty much a given when it comes to common areas, regardless of gender. The towel wrap works well for both male and female and you are still every bit as naked but without the tort. I personally sleep naked as did a few of my platonic roommates but the towel wrap saved both of us from any awkward situations. It is easy to put on and easy to take off as soon as you're in your own room.

I would be fine with it, but if it bothers you then you should talk to him about it. It's kind of a tough call, because it's his home too, so does your right to not see him naked trump his right to walk around naked at home? I'd say no, but then again I never saw what the big deal was about nudity.
Bottom line is, if it makes you that uncomfortable, just discuss it so you can try to agree to some house rules that you'll both be comfortable with.

As a former male roommate I say yes. However my ex-roommate probably would have said no because she is a prude. I would have had no problem with her walking around naked. So the answer is, it depends on whether or not you are a prude.

No, I would not be comfortable with it.
But if it makes you uncomfortable, then you should talk to your roommate and tell him so. The opinions of a bunch of gals on Yahoo answers shouldn't sway you one way or the other. It's about what makes YOU comfortable, not us.

At the very least, it indicates laziness, since putting on a pair of underwear or shorts doesn't take that long.
If you've told him that the behavior bothers you and he continues doing it, then he is blatantly showing disrespect towards you.

That's a little bit weird. If I lived in my apartment with a man, I would probably let him do it, I mean, its his apartment too. I doubt it would bother me, I would just laugh at him a lot. What a weirdo.

maybe he is trying to get your attention hint hint! does he possibly have a little romantic interest in you? that is a good possibility. just talk with him if it is making you feel uncomfortable. or is it? either way just sit down and have an adult conversation with him who knows you might find out he actually likes you.
