... and I feel terrible that I did. I would like to get another tattoo with him next week, so the question is do I leave him the forgotten tip when I make the appointment or should I leave a double tip next week, after my new tattoo's done?

I am no racist by any means, but as a server i do notice certain trends. I'm not saying that all black people don't tip and i'm not saying that all white people tip well, but it's hard to ignore the facts when i get a 50 cent tip on a $30 check or a $1 tip on a $45 check. Servers live on their tips. we make $2.13/hr and need tips to survive. If anyone can give me some insite into this it would be appreciated.

i think today politics seems to me is mainly contained with old age persons,we hardly find 8 to 10 good young people.
and irony is that youth work as party worker and they do the main work at grassroot level for political party as they r the main person who interact with common people.
now shouldn't we care for our country apart from our own career.

My wife and I disagree about giving birthday cards.

My position is that if you can't be there in person for someone's birthday, then you should send a card. But if you are going to see the person on his/her birthday (and especially if you are going to give a gift), then it doesn't make sense to also hand the person a birthday card--after all, your are right there and will be saying "Happy Birthday!" and whatever else you want to add, to the person directly, which I hope would mean more than letting a card say it for you.
My wife, however, thinks that you should hand the birthday person a card in addition to a gift.

What do you think?

Do you wear shoes inside your home. What do you do about guests. What is on your feet when you answer the door.

Near my bus stop to go home every day, I am noticing now that this same guy is always around. He stops and asks me questions all of the time.
At first, they were simple questions like, Hot weather isn't it?
Now they are things like, You are cute. Your legs are pretty, etc
He is older and has grey hair. I guess he is in his 60's.
I have talked to my mom, and she thinks he is just lonely. His wife died from cancer 10 years ago.
Should I be flattered that he is talking to me, or grossed out that such an older guy likes my leg?

I just started a new job 1 1/2 weeks ago.
Well i work at a drug store and my new assistant manager belittles me. She's super nice to everyone else.
I caught on pretty fast as the front cashier and i get customers out fast with out resulting to long lines. Customers love me, i'm always smiling and having small talk while completing their transactions to make them feel welcomed (like a friend).
Well 3 days ado the boss of mine came and yelled at me for being too fast! Crazy i know, then a female customer came to me to purchase a Star magazine and said she could'nt believe she shaved her head, i said i know and it's on every paper we're we have to keep looking at it in, in a happy friendly kinda way. Well my boss yelled at me in front of her saying it's britney's business what she does ..so mind your own business no one will say a thing if you shaved your head. So i said it is our business if it's plastered everywhere so why u yelling if it's not work related.. too be continued

We are coming together with the help of my 'niece' who was adopted out at birth (but connected in her early 20's with my sister)..the friend we are visiting is the father of my niece who just turned 60.. He has not been well with early stage MS and we truly are looking forward to meeting with him at his home. He lives with his 'wife' of many years, although they have been living 'separately' for some years now, he, in an apt within the home. We want to bring a gift, but are at a lose as to what. Can anyone help?

I think intelligence is so appealing in a the opposite sex.

I think it makes someone instantly likable, especially on here, if you know someone has taken their time and bothered to answer your question, rather than spin off a tirade of abuse.

If they have looks, intelligence and they make you laugh then I think you really have hit the bullseye!

There's a crew of guys building a deck, painting the house, laying shingle, etc. Should I provide some cold drinks? I know it's not summer yet and they aren't nearly working up the sweat that I did when I was working with a moving company in the flame of summer, but most of those people offered us drinks and we expected it. Should I do this. Or if not, is there anything I should offer them as they work?

So I would be so appreciated if you can take a minute off and just read this post. The situation is that I feel like that i'm still immature, maybe not in appearance but definitely the way i interact with people.

Perhaps it is the way i talk on IM using too much of LOL >.> or just plan bad grammar. Perhaps it is my anti-socialness in general since many times i run of things to talk about to people, and it is plan awkard. Then i really dont know what is the problem, it just seem that my self confidence is low and i have no idea of how to gain more confidence.

Let me know your suggestions please, anything would probably help.

There are people who I've met and I know their names and I see them around all the time. I never really talked to them anymore after first meeting them. I say hi the first few times after first meeting them but after a while, they start looking away when I see them and would not make eye contact. Are they just being rude? Or is this normal because I've only met them once and constant greetings with someone you barely know is annoying??

Do you love it? I do if I want to. Can you strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere about anything? I can but it is not always something I like doing. I am usually not social by choice unless I am interested. Are you interested? Are you like me? Do you handle people because you have to? For example at work, school, or home. Are the ones you want to handle so very happy that you do? I bet they are...

I've been working as a cashier/floor person for 3 years. The other day i had a customer come in who did not hand me the money (he placed it on the counter) so I did not hand it back to him (i placed it on the counter like he did to me). He started yelling at me and threatening me, saying it was okay that he did not hand me the money but it wasn't ok what I did. I simply told him in a calm but firm voice that he did not hand it to me so why should I? I just hung back and called the manager to avoid conflict. He wound up telling my manager that if I didn't like what he had to say he could take me outside and punch me around (of course he didn't, he just wound up leaving and coming back in to give me a bad look and leave like a coward). Why should I ever hand money to someone like that in the first place? Don't you have to give respect to get it?
