When my mother and I met up with friends abroad we hadn't seen in over a decade, we got a very nice photograph taken of the two of us and put it in a beautiful silver Victorian frame, because chances were that we wouldn't be seeing them for a long time yet after that visit. This may sound really vain and egotistical, but our friends loved it - or so they claimed.
Maybe they ripped the piccie out and sold the frame for a fortune on eBay. Who knows. ;)
I wouldn't *buy* something ready-made from a store; give something personal to remember you by.

I don't know if I can help or not but I'm sure as heck going to try. You can give him flowers, candy, an electric or non electric lap throw. A very well thought out card, a poem, food, bunches of kisses and lots of hugs, balloons, if he is able to read get him some books, there is nothing better than the feel of a book in your hands. Find out what kind of music he might like and buy it for him. Mostly I think lots of hugs and kisses would be the best gift.

A gift is really nice thing to do -- I wouldn't do flowers cause its a man (no offense to men who like flowers) but a house plant isn't bad. Some candy or sweets would probably be best -- remember that you haven't seen him in 15 years he has probably changed and it would be embarrassing to get him something he really won't use or like.
Maybe if you have some old pictures of him and you guys, and other memorbilia you can make him a photo album scrape book thing -- great conversation piece if anything.

If you are going to consider giving them a gift card of some sort, I would suggest giving them a Visa or Amex Gift Card. That way that can use it at any store and purchase anything that they may need or want.

I dont have an ipad yet i do have a digital camera. A ipad has extra benifits to it. It has apps, watch movies, get wifi, make alot of creations. I cant record all of them whether it it has alot of issues to maintain you busy. Plus a digital camera is extra low priced till you pick those particularly exspensive ones. you could strengthen up money for idk maybe $eighty-one hundred fifty digital camera. it particularly is going to take much less time to strengthen up money for a digital camera than an ipad. and that i think of a ipad has a geared up in digital camera. yet idk. yet i could %. the ipad. Goodluck:D and happy early or previous due Birthday!
