Recently I joined toast master club but felt that they are ignoring me and giving more opportunity to other person who joined the same day so please let me know what should be my reaction to them?

Keep your shirt on. Several years ago, I, too joined Toastmasters
International. The way they operate is just to let you be an
observer for a while. That's so you can become accustomed to
how the whole system works. Then they slowly introduce you to
more and more of the group until you're comfortable with it. For
me, it took almost a year before I was given my first speaking
assignment. Your first few months are a learning phase you have
to go through to see if you really are suited for this club. So, stay
with it, your time is coming, and when it starts, there's no turning
back. But, hey, it's all well worth it!!

I'm surprised. Toastmasters has a lot of information for their clubs on how to run a good club. Ask your Vice President for Education to assign you a mentor and to schedule your first "Icebreaker" speech. You can look at their website www.toastmasters.org to see what a good club is supposed to do and to also see if there is another club near you that you might prefer. If you still have problems, figure out who is the District Governor and call or email that person and ask for help.

I joined Toastmasters years ago and after one speech a woman gave me an awful evaluation that hurt my feelings...I was ready to quit when a lady in the club, a DTM....gave me a note that said " good job". This really made a diffence and I stuck with it and got my CTM... Don't give up...The things you learn in Toastmasters will last a lifetime Good Luck

Isn't the Toastmasters Club about public speaking and debating? Well, start showing your grit by speaking up. If you can't find the courage to speak up now, how are you going to gather the nerves to stand up and make speeches in front of people?

Its cuz your white isnt it? lol just kidding. I think that if you really feel that they are shunning you, maybe you should talk to someone in the club, not just a buddy to gripe to, but someone who is important. find out the chain of command and work your way up it.

Sell the toastmaster ! There are other products out there. And consider pursuing other things in life. It's possible you have too much time on your hands.
