Do you think you are immature, or is it others who tell you??
In all cases, being mature means being responsible for ourselves. So, if you think your grammar shows poorly, concentrate on it, read on it, read some good books concentrating on the form as well as on the content. A good idea to "grow up" is also to get an understanding of on-going international events, as this allows you to take a responsability in the world, not only in your life.
Get interested in what happens, as this is larger than bands, internet, or any IM world. Turn off the computer for a while, and look at other people - you may want to get a job for a while, to figure out what life is about - earning your way, paying taxes, social insurance, health insurance. Having to pay your way will ground you... and get rid of any un-social behaviour.

Wow, a serious question from someone who is obviously concerned, well, I am 45 and still act like a little kid, I will not `Grow Up` as although I am intelligent and thoughtful with regard to others i always look at things positivly and with a sense of humour, i appreciate YOUR `problem` though, you look around you, or on `Hollyoaks` etc and think "God, I am SOOO Young!"
You are mate, you are 19 remember, Hollyoaks is Scripted, they have written down what they need to say, sounds to me you need a little confidence injection, plenty of classes can do that, public speaking etc, But, if you want MY advice, the first answer is ALMOST right, Join the RAF, or the Navy the ARMY, think about it? I spent 18 years in the RAF, a great grounding for ANY young person, if that is not your `bag` then just be confident in the hidden abilities you DO have.

I am 20 years old and I act really (understatement) immature at times depending on who I am with, and at other times extremely mature, so I have a nice blend of both. I know people who act mature all the time and frankly they are boring as heck. If you don't act immature some of the time, it's hard to have fun, and having fun is extremely important. I also physically look like I am about 14 or 15 years old physically so I can get away with acting immature more so probably, lol. However, this was just referring to your first paragraph because when you go into further detail in your second paragraph, the things you say don't necessarily correlate with being immature, so I really don't know how to go about answering that.

You're concerned that you're immature... that in itself means you're not, I think. If you were immature, you wouldn't realize it, and you'd pay no attention to those who tell you you are. You want to seem grown up and responsible. That means you're no longer immature. You're ready for responsibility.
Well... it's not anti-social to run out of things to say. Neither is it 'immature'. Maybe you're just a bit reserved. I think you're just insecure and much too concerned about things that don't matter. Take your mind off what people will think of your words and actions, and focus on being yourself. Be natural and not anxious.
If it's your clowning around and having fun that someone thinks is immature, IGNORE IT! Nobody hates people who joke around, they're just jealous because such fun people are much more popular than they are.

Are you still living with your parents? Get out into the real world and start taking care of yourself. The military is a great place to give you confidence and make you grow up.

You are worrying to much about it, or you wouldn't be asking this. That is probably the worst part of your problem. The harder you try the worst it might seem to you.
Try less hard and be natural, don't try to act like something your not.
Be yourself.
