I do it all the time, but often by mistake. I tend to talk to myself and/or inanimate objects, and bystanders sometimes join in. For example, I ask the tins on the supermarket shelf where the plain tuna in springwater is when it isn't where it was last time.
But certainly I don't mind if people respond, much better than the ones who look askance and then scuttle away.

My favourite hobby! Yes i love talking to strangers. I can strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, about anything. It's very interesting to meet different kinds of minds and souls. As adults we have to get rid of the idea that there are bad strangers like the fairy tale of Red Riding Hood. If you vibe good then you'll meet exactly strangers who are good as well. Remember we are all humans. Strangers are friends waiting to be a friend to you and vice versa. Be an amazing stranger!

I can carry on a conversation with anyone but, considering that I'm from Miami and there's alot of pedophiles and creeps out there I perfer not to. I don't even make eye contact with the people on the bus stop or on the bus. Cuz every month or holiday we recieve a new list of pedophiles. But other than that I'm a very social person.

Conversation is good. People are alot nicer than you think. It usually makes someone's day if you start up a conversation. Everyone loves talking. But feel out the situation. Each situation is different. Don't talk on and on that it is becoming a nusance. If that happens, they would've wished they never responded when you said the first hi.

Every chance I get. Sometimes complete strangers have the most interesting stories to tell.
At other times I prefer solitude, at those times I only communicate with the necessary grunts and nods. And only when I have to; with family and work colleagues.
Most of my friends have worked out my moods now and don't take offence.

I rarely if ever talk to strangers, normally I'm happier just reading my book or newspaper on the train. Only when something out of the ordinary happens or when someone looks *very* interesting do I break my silence. I'm just not very sociable.

I talk to strangers who are near me in a line or maybe in a waiting room. It's just polite to at least say hello, how are you.

yes... sometimes I do... but the person must look friendly and approachable. funny how you can loosen up with a complete stranger.....
