My ex-boyfriends mother made my life a living hell all the years I was with her son. Now the relationship has been over for 5 years she is trying to be my best friend. She wants her son and I to be friends. She calls me all the time talking about her son. I tell her I am not interested in her son or do I want to hear about him. I try screening all my calls, but after awhile she starts calling private. She leaves message and I never return the call, but she keeps on calling. Sometime I get anger with her, but she just says I’m having a bad day and calls a few days later. How do I get this ex-boyfriends mother to stop calling me without changing my phone number? How do I get her to let go without being mean. (Her son left me to be with someone else and I have forgiven him. I just do not want him or his mother in my life).

For the how to say thank you questions I use all the answers. You are all rated a 10 in my books thank you for your great answers.

I was raised knowing my pleases, thank yous, holding the door, excuse me (whenever needed); may I be excused?; apologies, common courtesies, and respect etc... I'm 25 and a little upset that people are slacking on this. Ill mannered and ungracious people are not something I like. I don't think I'm being old fashioned when there are still people using their manners.

Normally, I address everyone as Sir or Ma'am especially if they are older than I am. How am I suppose to dance round communication with someone if I honestly don't know if they are man or a woman? For instance if you are speaking on the telephone with someone and they have a high pitched voice, but isn't exactly feminine(I hope that makes sense). Even worse when you are talking face to face, but the person has unisex haircut, and is a little overweight so you really can't tell. I know ths question sounds a little silly, but I would appreciate serious answers also.

I work for a very small family run company. The owner is 75 and his daughter and son, both 50, are all my bosses and the only people I work with. The daughter, again, she is my boss, is pretty much the biggest b&*^% I've ever known, pretty heartless and bitter from all her experiences. She treats me like I'm an idiot, as she does EVERYONE. My self confidence has decreased very much since I started working there, bc she treats me like I'm just an idiot kid. She yells all day long and goes on and on about things that I think she needs to just get over. For example, how Oprah spent so much money on kids in Africa instead of our own country. She makes the work day MISERABLE because all she does is B*!@$. Not to mention she is killing my lungs from her chain smoking. I have a cold I cannot get over bc of it. She says things all the time that are VERY offensive. For example she gets VERY racial. Bottom line is, I don't know how to deal with it. Should I just stay quite or should I say somethi

I was en route to work today and I encountered this guy who seemed very polite at first. He said hi how are you? I told him be blessed. He said you aren't going to stay with me on the train until 86st. I replied no. I got off at a certain stop and he followed me into the next train i boarded. There was this lady on the train car I was on. She departed at 116st. I moved to the next car but he followed me. He took his penis off and started jerking off. He kept saying I was sexy. I tried to run but he wouldn't let me off the train. He eventually came and got off at 86th. I was really scared. I just want to know if anyone ever saw anything like that before. Quite frightening

Do I take the gloves off while I eat? If so, where do I put them? Is there anything else I need to know?

to give you an idea these are 2-19 yrs old druggies with no respect for others around them. One plays his stereo loudly at any given time don't matter if it's 8am or 11pm, the other plays his guitar a million times a day way too loud and at the worst times too (latenight). what could work to shut them up for a while or at least make them do their thing at more respectable hours? Remember folks, these are two college guys who think they know everything and anything, when really they don't know left from right. I need ideas here before one of these two twits gets my fist in their face.

Well, my crazy, crazy (and I mean really crazy) #2 ex wife is back at it again. She found out I moved out of state awhile back and showed-up here and bashed out my headlights, threw bricks at my trailer at 3:00 in the morning once and jumped me in a strip bar parking lot. I haven't seen her for awhile so I thought she went back to Orlando but last night she woke me up about 2:30 banging on the door screaming she wanted half my money. I've dealt with her nut a** before so I pointed the fire extinguisher out the front door and sprayed her all over. Mistake. She filled up a two gallon bucket with water and threw it through the front window, busting it to pieces. Then she started throwing everything she she could get her hands on through the window. She even tied the handle open on a can of pepper spray and tossed that inside to. By the time the cops arrived I was gagging and crying from the pepper (but I wasn't about to go outside). Now what? Who else has problems like this??

I fell hard for this guy I met online. At first, it was just meant to be chat partners but then I started chatting really deeply with him - and now everytime I see him signed on (always in "away" mode), I want to message him and talk!

I have this gut feeling I will push him away - I already came close by freaking out when he took several hours to reply to me - I really thought I did something to upset him!

So please, guys especially, how much is too much chatting with a guy online? What is the line where friendly conversation becomes obsession? Also, any tips on how I can get over crushing on someone so hard will be great too - I'm trying to act aloof but it's not working! I like him too much and it makes me look so desparate!

Thanks for all your help :)

This is true even at workplace, in China Towns and, of course, China, Hong Hong and Taiwan.

There must be a simple reason, may not even be a bad one, but I'd like to hear what you have to say.

Ok, there's a dude in my 5th period spanish named Jevon. HE IS SOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! OK, by that i mean, he won't stop messing with my clothes, my hair, my back, and we made a truce like 2 weeks ago, but he's breaking it. so i told the teacher and he got sent out and i'm soooo happy, but jevon won't stop annoying me. His locker is close to mine. So what do i do? PLZ help me. what do i do? i can't kick his *** or call him out because (here's the twist) he goes with one of my best friends. Also, he has a friend named Dimitar and he 'backs up' everything jevon says. and today they where saying **** about my --ahem-- 'private' parts. What do i do? I really want to kill him, but i can't because of my friend. Oh, and adults, no offense or anything, but don't say 'confront him.' He is WAY TOO IMMATURE.

PLZ HELP ME!!!!

What happened here?
I was walking by a car and I noticed that these three guys started laughing as they stared at me when I went by, so I turned back to see what their problem was and then turned back when, then I saw one of them mock me as I moved toward them. So I turned around and went over to the kid in the driver's seat and said "How're you doing. What's up?? We cool?

Then the kid said "What are you talking about?" as if I was making this all up, then I told him "Im just saying when I was walking past, I was going by minding my own business that's all. Have a good day guys.

Nothing else was said, and the third guy standing near the car did not move his head from where he was talking to the kids.

Did they back down? Im not a violent person, but if I can get away with being intimidating to jerks who want to be rude then I will do so.

Did I stand up for myself well, or subconsciously give in to their bullshit?

I just turned 18 a few months ago, and I really think I need to grow up. I do a lot on my own and my parents say I'm responcible, but I still feel like a kid and I dont know how to get over it. I also dont know how to get over childish fears, especally the once I cant do anything about, like the end of the world, or people accepting me or rejecting me, going and doing stuff on my own with out being "asked", just growing up, and getting ready to leave home, I dont know the steps I need to take to get there...any ideas?

We had a dinner for my mom's birthday this weekend at a nice restaurant with about 19 adults and 3 kids. We were served by two staff. One bill came to $174 and the other was $220 (they put each servers on their own bill). My dad gave them each $50.00 and I gave them each an additional $20.00. Was $70.00 each a good tip? They girl seemed cool with it but the guy looked a bit pissed and had been so jovial dring the dinner! Was it not enough? They both were great servers!

I live on corner lot. next door and across street are neighbors who are constantly trying to intimate me. (I like to sit on my front porch, read, talk on phone, let my dogs hang out..) they used to speak to me if they wanted something - I stopped that - confronted them - Now their really ticked. They say things like: pri--k; I'll slit her throat and then laugh. They only do this when they're together. They try VERY hard to get me to react, or go inside my house, which I don't. I never look at them, as if they're not there - So they do it even more! This has been going on and off, mainly on for 'bout 3 years! (druggers, shoot guns off, act/ talk big. AND this is in open. They don't care 'bout cops driving constantly around)
I wish I could just ignore them, but it's SO hard! I FEEL it.
This is serious! I'm not a weinee, a chicken... I know it's life! But comfort/peace in my own space.

SO HOW WOULD YOU HANDLE THIS! Serious answers
