I normally do but more often I have to go away and think about it before I go back to the person and apologize (or wall, or desk, or table or...)

I try to apologise to someone as soon as I realise that I have made a mistake and it is convenient to do so.
Sometimes the opportunity to make an apology will not be immediately available to me, so I put it on hold until the time is right.
Sometimes it is better to wait until both parties have calmed down or cooled off. But if you realise you are wrong, for goodness sake don't keep arguing just for the sake of argument.

Depends on if I realize I made a mistake right away. If I don't and I think about it or the person says something then I usually appologize for making the mistake and let them know I didn't realize it. Otherwise yes I do appologize right away.

I try my best to own up to my mistakes. But I'm not always johnny on the spot with an apology. Try to be when it's warranted though.

Actually no... Not to be rude, but I find it hard to say sorry to the persons I've made a mistake to. I mean, I'm not the only person like that, right?
It depends on who the person I've offended was. And how the mistake was done, or how bad it is.

It just depends on how willing and how eager a person wants to be forgiven... =)

Yes...usually, anyway. It shows humility and most people are impressed by someone who admits wrongdoing. Too many people get caught up in being right all the time...better to own up to a mistake than get caught in it down the road. That's my opinion, anyway!

If you're asking, "should you", then you probably should. If you're asking, "do I personally", then the answer is no. I usually have to give myself a little time to stew over things. Maybe not good...but I can't seem to break the habit!! Also..remember that sometimes it is harder for a person to accept your apology than it is for you to make it.
