This lady (Linda) who is above me at work does not return my emails and phone calls. She listens to all the malicious gossip and lies that my male supervisor says about me and never confronts me about them(the lies). At the end, she let's my male supervisor give me bad and bizarre reviews.

What do you think about Linda?

I rarely cook for my family. I hate to cook....and cleaning up. A nieghbor down the street cooks a meal every night. She even cook a meal for them to heat up on nights she has to work. Just wondered if I'm the only woman who doesnt cook everynight. Is it horrible that we generally eat frozen food or takeout??

As far as I'm concerned, nothing is beyond ridicule and humour - and I include my own warped little mind in that.

Why can't I laugh at kiddy fiddling, religion, animal loving and making love to the dead? If people don't like it, they don't have to listen, do they?

I would be quite sickened if I spent my whole time reading the gushing garbage in the religion section, so I don't bother.

Where do you draw a line? How do you know what is just an inch too far? Surely it's better to just target everything - now that's equality for you.

No doubt I'll be censored before I get to 20 "You're sick" answers - except most of you will write "your sick", because you're stupid...

Next week I am having my birthday party. My family is very small, my mom, granny, myself, and very few cousins. Every year my granny pulls this same stunt of wanting me to personally call her and invite her, or send her an invitation in the mail. She is included on EVERYTHING we do, whether she is invited or not. And my mom is throwing me a nice little family dinner party. I'm pretty disgusted AS USUAL because she should know she's invited and not play poor me, invite me formally will ya? I just do not think I should have to waste a stamp or call. She also lives down the street from the place and expects us to 1. pick her up and take her, and 2. pay for everything. We always do pay for everything.. I've talked to my mom and her about it. And the attitude from my granny is once again, poor me. If you dont invite me personally, instead of having the party thrower do it.. then I don't come. She gets upset. What should I do?

I would like to purchase an inexpensive surprise for a male co-worker who has befriended me... I had thought of just picking him up a gourmet candybar and leaving it on his desk but learned he's a strict follower of Lo-Carb eating. Any suggestions on what I can give him?

im goth...im gonna come right out and say it. i wear the clothes, listen to the music, and i live it...i understand that there is a mentality that goes with it, you cant just dress it, or listen to it, you have to be it. i am it...so my question is...i was in the mall. hot topic really is the only place around here i can get goth looking clothing without spending an arm on and a leg on shipping and handleing. now, im in a public place, so you would think people would maybe stare at most, but some people actually bother to call out and make a disgusted looking face as they yell something to the extent of "where the hell do you shop?" its so rude! all my lady parts are coverd unlike some of the stuff girls wear today, its just my clothes are all black, and might involve fishnet or chains. its not like i have a pentagram and 666 tattooed on me! so why bother calling me out, and not the girl with the skirt so short you can see what she had for dinner?

Am I alone here? is there a reason for this? I was at my company X-mas party talking to someone and someone who worked there buried their back into my shoulder, without even saying excuse me.

Is courtesy dead? Oh and btw, im not going to just move if he's coming by and I don't happen to revert my attention towards focusing on him and where he's walking. That would be called pandering.

I'm dying to hear some people's response to this.....

So why is it that when you're riding on an elevator, you get to your floor, the doors open, and some idiot is standing right smack in front of the doors so you can't get off? It's as if these people are actually shocked that someone may actually be wanting to get off the elevator!? A snide "excuse you" doesnt' work!!

With spring in the air and many a harvest moon under bleachers and behind hedges I ventured to get rid of some liquid tonnage from my extended bladders at a safe spot by a busy walkway in a public park. However, there are risks associated with taking care of private matters in public places and soon after a bird dropping landed a little to the left of my right leather shoe a reptile decided to shed its cold blooded affinity and slither out in the sun right between my horrified legs.
I quickly slithered my quivering hose into my trousers while it was still turned on and jumped out screaming from the hedges. Some of the bystanders were more horrified at my sight than at the original trigger for panic and started running down the trail with hands raised and yelling full blast as if the starter had just shot his gun for a 200 metres olympic heat. Soon a park ranger was in hot pursuit behind me and now I have to appear in court for commiting public nuisance. How to convince the judge ?

whilst veiwing a bare knuckle boxing fight between rival gypsy camps, where two strapping young men stripped to the waist fight for honour and cash to feel obliged to drive the loser to hospital after you've juts lost a wad of cash on his drubbing?. the reason i ask is whilst my man lost lost admiarably, and he then recieved a kicking from his camp elders for losing. as i drove past his bloodied body in my rolls royce, i felt somewhat partly guilty for his broken state. by the time i got home i pondered "should have i given him a lift to hospital?"

I have discovered recently that one of my coworkers always tucks her blouse into her underwear. I think she does this to keep her blouses tucked into her low rise slacks and suits she wears. Normally when she gets up, she usually gives hers slacks or skirt a tug up to make sure that her waistband goes back into hiding. However there are a few times that she will be flashing some of her waistband. My question is since we work out at various locations for our clients, sometimes her underwear is showing as she is going through files, etc. Should I mention something to her as I am her boss, or just ignore it and enjoy the view?

This person doesn't wash her hands after using the bathroom. In fact, she even pees on the seat and doesn't wipe it up! Then she'll finger through any food that's in the kitchen, such as candy etc. Trouble is, she's our boss! How do we handle this? Is there anything we can say to her

my friend died suddenly from cancer, she went very fast.
She was middle age, when she decided to have her body donated to science, and not have a funeral/service or memorial, her and her husband agreed it was less of a burdon on their daughter. Well, she died 20 yrs sooner than she expected, and no time to change her wishes.
*is it rude for me to ask for a few of her and my friends that got togehter 4x's a yr at her house for thier phone numbers, so we can get together and have closure? how long should i wait?
we found out she had cancer 2 Saturdays ago, and she died 8 days later. she went fast, and we had planned on my visiting her today. I'm lost without her..

I am having a birthday dinner at a resturant and I am sending out e-vites to people (my family) How do I politely inform them that they should be prepared to pay. The dinner is 40$/per person or 80$/couple. I know this is tacky, but my apt. is not big enough to hold 25 ppl and all of my family lives out of town.
