I've only met a few other barefooters and most of them are guys, but I don't think of it as either a feminine or a typical male thing to do really... it's just comfortable and healthy.

Going barefoot in public is not against the law, it's not against any laws to drive barefoot, it's not dangerous nor are you likely to catch anything from going barefoot. Only in the US do you find that much bias against barefooting, and the bad part is it's based on myths. If anyone doesn't like barefooting that's their choice but people please get your facts straight, bring it as a personal opinion and don't spread myths!

This question is so broad... I live in a state that is COLD in the winter!!! Now... in the summer my feet need to breath! and that's what sandals are for, or so my fiance` keeps telling me =P. But if you live in a Cali beach community then I belive it's acceptable. As to the feminine thing. Men are from Mars Women are from Venus...

I don't think it's a feminine thing to do, but you may see more women barefoot because it is easier for us to get our shoes off.

Depends on where you are at. If it is warm weather and you are in a casual place then it isn't a big deal. If it is the middle of winter and you have non manicured toes and you are stomping around the office barefoot then it is definitely not.

No unless you are on a beach. Barefoot is usually not allowed in any buildings. So if you want to go out to eat or go in any stores, etc you cant without shoes. You will get a fungal infection if you walk around in public without shoes.

typically, it is not a feminine thing to do. some would say that it is unsanitary, others would say that it is rude. In some countries, they think that it is unmodest to show a womans feet in public. It really depends where you live though.

Feminine, I don't know. But it's probably not a good idea health-wise.
