My cousin just got engaged and I know who he is going to marry because she is like part of the family. Do I get her something she would like or do I get something they will need. They already live together. I need suggestions.

One of the other jurors just released a large amout of flatulance. Sorry, that's the only way to put it and it was, uh, 'big and obvious'!People immediately started moving away from her.
My question: Is there anything I could do to help the situation other than giving her a large dose of Gas-Ex? Should I say something to her?

In my office resently the administration assigned the parking spots for everyone, the problem is that mine is next to the sub-manager's spot and this morning when I got to the office I saw that she parked here "huge" BMW X5 in her spot and in mine!
and when I asked her she just said that she has to use two parking spots because his car is "too big" and she does'nt fit in one spot, and then she just turned around!. I mean, come on! learn how to drive! The problem is that she is my boss and I cannot tell her that! what should I do!!!!!!

I can't use another parking spot!!!!!!
Plus I hate conflicts and I will really like to work in a peacefull enviromet!!!

I want to have my twin boy's birthday party at a Children's museum. The rented room occupies 30. Last year's party was at a park and there was quite a few more than 30. Is it OK to exclude people who dont have children? The party also includes free admission to the museum. Families with children would have the most benefit/use of the museum. But it doesnt quite feel right to me. What should I do?

There are a few people I know who I try to avoid. They will start a conversation with me and then say stuff which I guess is supposed to be funny, but it never is, and then laugh right afterwards. They keep on laughing even though I'm not even smiling. Sometimes I even roll my eyes. Help me yahoo! answers.

So, I have a co-worker who is in her mid-late 30's. I am in my early 20's. She's very perky and bubbly.

She likes to tease people and she frequently teases me. Mainly about my age, but she often comments on my clothes (which are mean comments, for instance I have a bright pink sweater, if I wear it, all day she calls me "pinky...")

So, today she sent an email and she badly misused a word and misspelled my name... so, I gave her a little crap about it... but I tried to make it very clear I was teasing. I didn't give it much thought until I walked passed her desk and she was looking it up in a dictionary and mentioned why she used it. I laughed and I then I pressed it a little saying that it still wasn't the correct usage and I laughed about it... and she threw the dictionary on her desk and said (in a snarky tone) "Well, YOU send [the type of email that was sent] next time!" and sat down in a huff....

I recently resigned from my job as an executive assistant. I work out of more than one office and one office prepared a huge lunch for me, made me tres leches from scratch and got me a gift card to the mall. It was so thoughtful and I didn't expect it because I haven't even been with this company a year. I really want to send them a thank you card after I leave but I am stuck on what to say. What they did really surprised me in a good way and I thought it was really touching, I'm just crappy at putting this kind of stuff into words! Any suggestions?

I would also like to send a seperate thank you note to my boss. Even though I'm not that close to him, it just seems appropriate given the fact that I'm sending one to this other office. Anything you guys could offer on that would help too!

Something that I don't quite get about most people is this freakish tendency to believe that when... for instance... Person A does something that inadvertantly offends Person B .... that somehow Person A is in the wrong.
This seems completely backwards to me. Its only natural that if Person B doesn't have sufficient control of their emotions and resolve in their opinions to be unfazed by a certain action or comment then they are clearly in the wrong and need to shape up.
Even if Person A was actually -trying- to offend Person B, if B remains unfazed by it then naught has gone wrong at all and they are clearly in the superior position.

So what is the justification for thinking otherwise? Why am I punished because things I have said were taken the wrong way by fools who aren't in control of their faculties? ... The emotional equivalent of driving without a license......
