One of the other jurors just released a large amout of flatulance. Sorry, that's the only way to put it and it was, uh, 'big and obvious'!People immediately started moving away from her.
My question: Is there anything I could do to help the situation other than giving her a large dose of Gas-Ex? Should I say something to her?

PS I'm not playing with a computer in the courtroom. I was in the jury room where the rent computers here in California! So I'm not a liar, O ye of little faith!

IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN :
OPTION 1 SAY- THATS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL!

OPTION 2- DAMN ITS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE EXPRESSED THEIR TRUE FEELINGS!

OPTION 3- ASK THE BAILIFF IF EVERYONE COULD HAVE A RESTROOM BREAK & A CHANCE TO GET SOME FRESSH AIR.

OPTION 4- TELL EVERYONE TO TAKE SHORT BREATHS,
DON'T BE GREEDY!

GOOD LUCK DUDE, WAITING TO BE PICKED IS THE MOST BORING PART OF JURY DUTY, BUT YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON FOR SHOWING UP AND SO IS LITTLE MISS STINKY BUTT! LMAO!

I had a lady at work like that, and yes some people can too control it. They have to watch the types of food they are eating. Unfortunately there is not much that you can say to her, she obviously knows. I would just steer clear of her back end. P.S. We all get gassy, but hey not all the time does it smell and the proper thing to have done was excuse her self and go to the ladies room.

No, nothing you can actually do. It is a normal bodily function that some people can't hold in, and others like to share with the whole world. I wouldn't say something to her, if she's not proud of it, then I'm sure she's embarrassed about it.

Why would you say something to her. It's not like it's a controllable bodily function. Don't you think she's embarrassed enough? Word for the day, empathy, my friend.

I am certain she is utterly humiliated; any attempt at assistance, however well intended, is going to add to her discomfort.

Alas, Prince Charming, sometimes the fair damsel cannot be rescued from her distress!

Sit right next to her and take a big sniff. Then Smile. That will make her feel better, at least.

The polite thing to do is just say nothing. Maybe you can say afterward, "Goodness how boring that was!" or something.
