I have discovered recently that one of my coworkers always tucks her blouse into her underwear. I think she does this to keep her blouses tucked into her low rise slacks and suits she wears. Normally when she gets up, she usually gives hers slacks or skirt a tug up to make sure that her waistband goes back into hiding. However there are a few times that she will be flashing some of her waistband. My question is since we work out at various locations for our clients, sometimes her underwear is showing as she is going through files, etc. Should I mention something to her as I am her boss, or just ignore it and enjoy the view?

Seeing that you are probably a male and the employee you speak of is female, it might come across as a form of "sexual harrassment" or can be misconstrued in that way.

I think that you might want to bring it up to your Human Resource rep and have them bring it up to her gently.

REPORT HER TO THE FASHION POLICE! No, in all sincerity, though, by her tugging at her clothing, she obviously knows that her undergarments may show. What she does not know is how to wear her blouses.

First of all, it is MY OPINION that low-rider jeans or slacks are not appropriate for the workplace. Slim or full-figured, it doesn't matter, it is unacceptable.

Since, you are her manager I would suggest that you schedule a meeting with her and have another female manager present, so that you can nip this thing in the bud. If she states that she likes wearing her blouses that way, then it would be quite appropriate to suggest to her, that maybe she would feel more comfortable if she wore a wide-band belt with her attire. The other manager may also want to instruct her in the proper way to wear a blouse.

If you do not feel comfortable with the suggestions that I have presented to you, then the other alternative is to avert your attention elsewhere when this happens and resist the urge to gossip.

Since you mention enjoying the view, I'm assuming you are male. Maybe you could get another female coworker to mention it to her. Since you are her boss and are concerned about how she is representing your company, it's your obligation to make sure the representation is professional. Having another female discuss this with her will lessen the embarrassment factor, and keep you out of hot water for "noticing".

If this is a problem that occurs a lot and makes you uncomfortable then it has to be addressed. Are you the top boss? If not, then take it to him. I would try and get someone else to handle this one.

If it is an occasional thing then I would let it go. Its her underwear, not her actual but that shows.

At least she is trying to stay covered. SD

The safest course of action would be to ask a female co-worker, preferable one with whom you are both friendly, to have a discreet word with her. Ideally, this would be someone at the same level as your employee, or just one level higher.

By no means should you ask someone at a level lower than hers to bring it up.

Only as a last resort should you raise the matter with someone in Human Relations.

you should take her aside earlier a gathering or maybe at the same time as your basically making waiting for a gathering and tell her now to not take offense to what you should assert yet you had said a number of the more youthful men in the course of conferences grining at her at the same time as she bends over or some thing, and she said her undies replaced into exhibiting slightly, and idea possibly that could were the reason.

If this doesn't happen often, just let it go. There is no way you can appropriately speak to her about this.
