Me, I sing and dance along with the radio/MP3 Player when no one is looking. I mean straight "American Idol" type performance (it would help if I could "actually" sing).

D you have any habits, things you do when no one is looking?

Like me, I won't eat at Carl's Jr., because I find their advertising to be misogynistic and chauvenistic. What about you?

Do you think it would be a good idea if points were deducted for the answer voted worst? Would it act as a deterrent to those people who seem to take great delight in making the most inane comments?

I work with a dentist who will say "God Bless" to patients when she dismisses them. It's like her way of saying "Take Care". I feel this is inappropriate in a business situation in todays world. What do you think? What would your reaction be?

I was told this is a gray area and if no one has complained, it doesn't need to be addressed. My take on it is, why allow it to continue if it may offend someone? I would rather be proactive rather than reactive.

This is a non-profit dental office. The dentist is the dental director of our particular clinic.

I believe I have the basics down, but I'm curious about what makes a great party to you all? I'm talking about the kind of parties that are popular between the ages of late teens to late twenties. Keggers and such.

Does anyone else consider it bad manners and irritating when someone asks a question-which quite often involves research and a lengthy answer to resolve-and then ,having got what they wanted, can't be bothered to return to the post and vote for a best answer but just leave it in limbo?
I mean it's not much effort to say 'thanks for the help' is it?

My husband works for a reputable firm and he is paid a very handsome salary with excellent perks. He slogs 10-12 hours a day as it is a fairly young company and they are becomming very successful.
The problem is the CEO has a very bad temper and curses all the time. At a dinner reception (given in appreciation of my husband's team's success) the CEO (obviously drunk) used 4 letter expletives in almost every sentence. There were about 15 people at the reception that went on for 3-4 hours and all were putting up with his abhoring speeches.
How do you handle the situation. Is is bad etiquette to leave the reception early? You cannot complain to anyone because he is the CEO, you cannot afford to quit the job over this because you need it, but how to deal with the constant bad language?
Thanks for your advice :)

I live in an apartment complex with 2 towers connected by a tunnel. One night when I was coming home after shopping, I went to the building that wasn't mine and in the vestibule there were 2 girls trying to call up to another tenant to get in. I unlock the door, and as I'm going though the door I hear the male tenant on the intercom say:"You're not coming up here" So I hurry to close the door behind me so that they cannot piggy-back just as one of the girls is trying to grab the door. So then I'm just trying to get through the tunnel to my building to get away from this situation and as I'm going down the hall, I hear "F$*king rude!" being yelled down to me.
My thoughts were:
When I heard "You're not getting in here" or whatever it was to that effect. I thought they were genuinely just there to bug him and why would I let someone in the building to bother another tenant or possibly do damage? Second, it's not my responsibility to let them in, they're not my guests.
Am I justified?

well im assuming it was lice... i watched a bug crawl in and out of this girls hair today, fa-eva, and just as i was working up the nerve to say "ma'am, may i pull something from your hair?" 3 more bugs surfaced! i was like, "whoa! i cant fix that big of a problem on a 30 minute bus ride!"
was i rude to not say anything or would it be rude to say, "yo, you got bugs on your head!"
(i had lice as a kid, and am not grossed out by them but i am fixing to jump on a plane to go visit family and would hate to take lice home to a bajillion relatives... not to mention the fact that it took days to get all the lice off me back in third grade cause i have crazy thick hair!!)
so anyways, what would you have done? leaned in close to the nest and whispered her dillemma to her, or walked off wondering if she knew why she couldnt stop scratching her infested head?
no wrong answers, just want oppinions... thanks!

I was so nervous when i picked up my date that I threw up in her father's face when I shook his hand.

He took it OK, but I'd just eaten a footlong hotdog and some of it got stuck in his ear and hair which made it a little hard not to laugh as he waved goodbye as I drove away with his daughter.

I have a garage with an inside door, so I often just drive down to McDonalds or whatever naked.

Is there any law about this? If I get strange looks I just put an empty Wendy's bag over my penis so people aren't offended.

We're talking about physical age.

It would be interesting to hear from a range of perspectives.

This is a spinoff from another question.

I would like to hear from ladies out there and the manginas that wants to chip in.

Why Should men pay for the dates?. Im looking for logical, thorough explanation of this, backed up with facts.

Women has fought for equal rights. But equal rights come with a price because true equality means equality across the board, not just equality until the check comes. The real gender gap is that women with good jobs and equal incomes are still insisting that men finance their social lives. Writing 2007 women are now earning as much as -- or more than -- their male counterparts.

So again. Im looking for intelligent and logical replies why women shouldn't foot the bill

Why can't people stop talking in the cinema when they have gone there for the specific reason of watching a film ? And, why oh why do, what I presume are usually quite normal people feel they have to take up the table manners of a pig when eating pop corn ?

Does that annoy you like it does me ??
