Good point! The act is really quite uncivilised, especially when animals and people are displaced.

I know!! A building firm has been building 10 townhouses on a plot of land adjacent to where my Mum lives, they have driven their lorries ovr the grass churning it all up,taken over the private car park with their vehicles, been starting work at the crack of dawn illegally so they can all knock off work early, and no word of apology,my Mum put in a complaint along with the other rsidents & the builders were considerate-for about 2 days!!Then it all went back to being a nightmare. My Mum is suffering from cancer at the moment & doesn't need all this, and she has lots of elderly neighbours but they still do it even though they can see the situation.it's disgusting!!

I know! Why can't they just clear what they need to instead of all the trees. I hate that!
They should be forced to build somewhere that has already been cleared, a vacated building, an old lot. It's bullshit.
They don't care about the environment, the trees, or the animals that live there.
All they care about is money!

Most of us call it uncivil engineering. Money is usually the reason behind it all. Constant pressure on them via your local councillors (if there are any not connected to the building firm!). Write to the local newspaper. Organise petitions. I know it sounds boring but, sometimes, boring wins.

they usually cut down trees in the process, and half the time there is a bunch of vacant buildings that they could just remodel nearby.
