Well, here are my age opinions:
20 - 25 is Young Adult
25 - 40 is an Adult
40 - 60 is Middle Aged
60 and up is Elderly
But, a person is only an adult if they are wise enough to know that they don't know everything and that they are not always right - that is what my grandfather used to say.

I think age has a lot to do with mindset and attitudes. I am in my 50's and would not feel out of place at, say a Bob Dylan concert, but I couldn't imagine my parents at the same age doing that. In general, middle aged and older people today are far more active with a younger outlook than 30 years ago. A lot has to do with better health and more prosperity I should think. However, I do know people of my age who are very staid and seem far older and I wonder how they could have been young in the 60's and not have been affected by it!

It would depend on you are talking to, at 57 younger people say I am old that would be an age between 8-25.
Those older than myself see me as being young or in their term a spring chicken they would be between 75-94 etc.
Middle age, well if you live to seventy then thirty five would be middle age.
Age is only a number you are as young as you feel, if you have a good outlook in life and a keen mind then you will always be young.

Depends on what society you live. In some cultures a 17 years old girl is already old enough to have children but a 20 years old man is still young. In our western societies it's up to individuals I think, for example when I was 14 I thought all above 20 too old.But now that I'm 26 I want to think that even 35 is still young.

I don't think there is a set "class" of young and old - for example to an 18 year old a 30 year old would be "old" - but to an 80 year old a 40 year old would be young. It's really hard to say I think.

Somewhere around thirty your age starts to become a state of mind instead of a number.
