I believe I have the basics down, but I'm curious about what makes a great party to you all? I'm talking about the kind of parties that are popular between the ages of late teens to late twenties. Keggers and such.

First of all, the safety of your guests is of utmost importance. You don't want anyone falling into the pool or off a balcony, or falling a sleep in the driveway and getting run over. A party is great if people have fun, get to mingle, have a moderate amount to drink. Some music is good, and always respect the neighbors.

Just throw out the invites and then sit back and be chill.

I don't know about teens being there though. Because when it gets busted by the police you're in trouble. I was at this party with underage drinkers that got busted. My date (24) and I (20) just sat on the front porch the whole time and the police just passed by and asked us how we were doing. We sat there with our bottles of liquor and talked to each other and did not get arrested.
The people that ran (underage and of age both) were the ones that got arrested.

You need to have a lot of things going on. Anywhere with a pool and hot tub is a plus...getting drunk and wet is always fun : ) Some of the best parties I ever went to had a slip-n-slide, sooooo much fun when your wasted!

You should have some games going on too, beer pong, quarters, any type of card games...

Definately loud music, thats always a must. Get a bunch of diffrerent types of music too, you have to mix it up. Once people get drunk enough they will dance to anything.

Depending who all is coming, themed parties are fun too...maybe a Pimps-n-Hoes party, or a white trash bash, dont forget about togas too!

Make sure you tell your nieghbors, or invite them if they are cool. That way you dont have anyone complaining or trying to break up the party.

HAVE FUN!

Theme parties are fun. Also, anything that involves the guests (dressing up, scavenger hunt, etc.)
