Does anyone else consider it bad manners and irritating when someone asks a question-which quite often involves research and a lengthy answer to resolve-and then ,having got what they wanted, can't be bothered to return to the post and vote for a best answer but just leave it in limbo?
I mean it's not much effort to say 'thanks for the help' is it?

I can't stand when answers are left for voting; it's waay irritating. I have to wait all kinds of weeks for the best answer and I think that the voters don't always choose the best answer. I like it when the voter picks the answer that gave what the questioner asked. That's why I made a vow to myself and my answerers that I would always choose best answer and always thank them. I totally agree with you!

Giving thumbs up isn't purely left to the asker yet all people who take the undertaking of dealing with the solutions. There are some who as a count number of ordinary provide a thumbs right down to prepare their frustration. And starring questions is left to the answerer's exhilaration. do no longer enable those themes get you down.proceed to invite your questions and answer as many as pastime you.Have a astounding Day.

I agree with you, but on the other hand, aren't you taking this whole Answers thing a little too seriously? I just do it for fun, I enjoy helping people out and I like doing the research, so it doesn't bother me much if people don't respond or thank me.

Take care:)

I totally agree, and I wonder why people do this all the time. No, it's not hard to say thank you!

Certainly. One word "Thanks" can cause a world of a difference to a person.

Hope you would thank me at the end of this answer! ;-)

But, it is also genuine and gentle to not expect thanks for doing a favour.
