My boss is taking us to lunch to celebrate Chinese New Year (1 employee is Chinese). I cannot eat meat tomorrow due to Lent and I have a seafood allergy. I dislike most Chinese food. I am not sure how to get out of this. They told me to eat California rolls or Tofu-both which I greatly dislike. I just started this job a few months ago. They could tell from my reaction that I was not thrilled to go, but didn't offer to let me out of going. Should I eat before I go and just socialize with them. I feel like I'm going to just end up eating a bowl of rice. Also, I have a heart condition which doesnt allow me to eat spicy foods. Please help! Lunch is tomorrow (Friday)!

After asking several questions on this topic, there seems to be a double standard. It seems that it's ok for Women, but not Men to wear Thong swimwear at the Beach. Why is that? And most of the People who said it was gross or wrong for a man to do it were Women. Is this not sexist?

If you were at a formal function or maybe at a meeting and you accidentally broke wind (from either end) what would you do? Would you admit it, or pretend someone else had done it?

Two states for me, Oregon and Nevada, I was talking to my freind about this. He was a marine, and he has vomited in many countries, and a few states. I would imagine that military people vomit in more places than most other folks.

Is there any special technique i should use? Is it polite to stick my tongue out? About how long should eating out take? What should I do if i spill something/have an accident? Women are constantly thumping their chests and demanding that men do all the housework. And in fairness, the man should do his fair of housework.

But with that having been said, is it reasonable to expect women to do at least some "men's work?" I mean, if the man of the house is willing to vacuum the carpet or clean the bathroom, then shouldn't the woman have to learn how to do some auto work, some basic household repairs, etc.? It seems fair to me.

That is, ride their bumpers.

I have to admit, I get a little irked when people do this to me. So, I always try to give the driver in front of me sufficient room, just to return the favor I ask for.

I bought a sofa and am having it delivered. How much should I tip? How do you casually act to give them the tip, or what do you say when you do?
I did pay a $79 shipping charge
I live on the third floor.
It is a regular 80" sofa, not sleeper sofa.
